ok, I'm extremely late but I want to explain something. I think there was a misunderstanding with 0:43. When Logdotzip mentioned Tubbo, I'm pretty sure he meant the slang for obese which is also Tubbo. Logdotzip soon realized that saying Tubbo would literally cause a war but didn't correct himself too well. So in conclusion, I don't think Logdotzip was intending to insult Tubbo the mcyt. The Tubbo “joke” wasn’t funny. He’s a minor and goes through enough hate already. Yes, some people might say it was a “joke” but it wasn’t very funny and was disrespectful and rude. I think you owe him an apology. I’m happy that others are pointing this out, even people that don’t watch/like Tubbo. We can all agree that just wasn’t right.
Edit: I noticed there are a lot of arguments in the comments and I would like to point out some things:
-First of all, some people are saying that he meant ‘tubbo’ as in fat. This could be true but it’s causing a lot of inconvenience so I think he should just say sorry during a stream/video.
-Second of all, I see some people are saying that it’s just a ‘joke’. Let me just say, it’s not. Body shaming is not something to laugh about. It could really damage somebody’s mental health. In many ways, e.g: starvation, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts etc.
-Third of all, I see a lot of people calling others “soft” for defending Tubbo and this is just not right. You can’t call somebody “soft” for trying to help, you might not agree with them but it doesn’t mean you should insult them when they didn’t do anything wrong.
-Fourth and final of all, I don’t think logdotzip should be cancelled or receiving insults/threats. As I said before, he COULD’VE meant ‘tubbo’ as in fat. I honestly think he should just say sorry because it’s caused a lot of arguments.
In conclusion, I just think that logdotzip should just say sorry even if he didn’t mean to insult Tubbo. I don’t think anybody should be insulting/threatening logdotzip but that we should point it out in a polite and civilised way.
