Quickshot says it right at the start but because Ender keeps doing it wrong Quickshot starts doing it as well.
It's 담원 (pronounced like dumwon) and not 댐원 which would be damnwon in the Hangeul
well the moment I saw picks and bans, I knew who would win. SPOILERS:>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lillia and Jayce have been huge bait picks so far. What is Lillia's win rate at this point? like 15% or something? Clearly these teams see something in that pick but at the very least, none of the teams have been executing on it or it is really hard to execute on it. I really do not want to see Lillia prioritized anymore this worlds

Lillia just feels nice stealing away camps and putting enemy Jgs behind, but she bursts so easy, that if she gets caught out, her lead means nothing. Just matching her with other Jg power farmers is the best counter. She'll probably still be picked throughout Worlds because of her High Risk, High Reward style of play when things get desperate for a team that gets behind.

Despite the loss JDG are still one of the favorites. Anyone but TES, DWG, JDG winning it would be a surprise.
How is this predictable? I’m a DAMWON fan but JDG is one of the tournament favourites and one of the best teams in the world, a lot of people even picked JDG above DAMWON (and it’s not even a bad guess, it still might happen)
JDG was just dumb to try to lvl 1 invade AGAIN after spamming the strat in LPL finals. DWG wont fall for that trick. That one mistake snowballed the game

if jdg picks morgana last instead of naut this game would be a lot closer. ashe morg is so oppressive due to poke and cc chains vs leo, jhin and also counters tf roams. Morg also has more magic damage than naut which is important because their only ap is lillia
But if they got Morgana, they would lose a frontline and 90% guaranteed engage with Naut ult. Lillia already bursts like a bubble with her low hp and armor. While laning would be advantageous, late game will be a problem since they lack tanks. If JDG picked Morg and she uses it on Lillia, Ashe becomes vulnerable. Use it on Ashe, Lillia goes gray screen. They needed that all-in potential from Naut. Alistar would've another viable option too.

dunno why but english casters are so much subpar compared to korean casters. English casters don't seem to comment beyond on whats happening in the game. They should be more like Korean casters and comment on strength and weaknesses of team composition, point out optimal strategic decision making, or even comment on the background and preferred playstyle of laners, etc
Bro they sort of kicked doa and monte, riot was just dumb to not raise their salary. Best lol casters to ever exist.
Korean casters are really good at covering information and casting with passion. It's just my opinion, but the Western style of "chill" casting seems to be more favored here in the West compared to the constant play-by-play analysis as well as the insane (but sometimes over the top) reactions from the LCK casters. I guess you could say Korean casters are a little "too passionate" in my books, but that's just my opinion.

DON'T EVER LET QUICKSHOT CAST AGAIN. Since LEC to Play ins to now Groups, Quickshot's incredibly obvious implicit bias for certain teams (and of course EU and his Chinese paycheck writers) has been utterly insufferable. I'm not even from NA but at the very least those guys have a sense of impartiality and professionalism in their work. The EU casters in general and Quickshot in particular are fucking ridiculous in their biased casting and cringiness.
Immediately after the game: instead of talking about the game, Quickshot immediately tries to pivot to how Rogue matches up. He does this ALL THE FUCKING TIME. Thank Ender for keeping things on track but your agenda is blatant and disgusting.
idk, saw this comment before watching the game and kept an eye out for biased commentary but personally didn't find any. Don't know about how he casts other games because I don't watch them in English usually, but at least for this one he seems pretty neutral.
Not just him, look at 37:58 when DWG get a massive lead, the other caster was like " Ohhhh really TES, it takes you 5 games to win JDG ................". Tbh, this kind of bias is everywhere, you can even see a lot of the Chinese haters/LCK fanboi celebrating DWG winning the worlds in comment section. Worlds is not about A (won C) beat B so B must beat C, it needs consistency, adaptability and of course skills.
Last year when finals happened between FPX and G2 the caster once was meant to praise someone from FPX but missaid it and said a name from a G2 team. Just shows how biased they are
