Business owners take on a lot of risk so they should be allowed to reap the rewards. They need to put up money to start a business. If the business closes, they lose a lot while employees can find another job. Louis shouldn't give up control of his business if he doesn't want to.

The issue with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is that it is just as much fiat as any governmental currency, but it can only have monetary value if a critical mass of people are involved in it, in similar fashion to Ponzi schemes. Governmental fiat currency has governments and their guns standing behind their currencies.
To put it another way, Bitcoin's worth is its meme status, while USD's worth is the United States of America's ability to say it has worth. One is far more solid than the other.
This is from the perspective of it being a proper currency where things are bought and sold in it and it alone. Ransomware does not count, because it is converted instantly to a non-crypto currency and the function being used is the semi-anonymous transactions that cryptocurrency enables. The long-term value of Bitcoin does not mean jack dick to that function save for what number of them the one being ransomed is told to pay.
