Well I didnt think that I would still learn something new at 75. But Chiz has helped me understand that I am not the failure I thought myself to be just because my child turned out different from my best hopes inspite of my best effort. He is truly a man with a very deep wisdom and understanding. I now feel he really deserved to be with somebody as wonderful as Heart.

My partner died last year, he received insurance money from his employer. We had been together for almost 10 years, we have condo under our names and currently under mortgage. My partner’s family decided not to give me a share from the insurance money. I’m a bit disappponted but I guess ganyan talaga ang katotohan sa Pilipinas for LGBT couples. The sad reality is, you have to disconnect from perpetually toxic relationships, even if they're familial. It doesn't mean that you'll love your family any less - it just means that you are choosing to be happy with or without them.
