The primary purpose of this video is really just an emphasis on the beautiful Chorus piece at the end of the Extended Stormblood Trailer shown at the European FanFest in 2017. I was surprised no one had made a cut of this part of the trailer so decided to do so myself. Working on trying to get rid of the couple of sound effects but for now I just tried to sync them with the visuals. Just decided to just edit a quick backdrop for the real star of the show.

So I revisited this video today after seeing it's numbers just explode all of the sudden and all of your comments just hit on the nose what is so perfect about the song. It's short, but I feel that all of us true adventurers can't watch/hear it without a flood of memories from all of our own personal adventures rushing back to them.
I was looking for this... damn this part is just so glorious especially with the camera work on the trailer makes this more amazing .

This part appears to the theme that will occur in a lot of Stormblood's soundtrack. It's already appeared in what sounds like a battle theme and a Far Eastern sounding theme. The latter is now a lot weirder since this is clearly Ala Mhigan. xD
It's becoming pretty clear that this is Stormblood's equivalent of Dragon Song
Naa, this is Stormblood's equivalent to Heavensward. Revolutions is Stormblood's equivalent to Dragonsong.
Oh, yeah you're right. That does make more sense.
But it is equivalent to DragonSong in that this is what will be used and remixed for a lot of various sections of the expansion.
Well, that was also the case with Heavensward, it was remixed into a lot of the tracks as well ("Revenge of the Horde", "Imagination", "Solid", "Night in the Brume", "Stone and Steel" to name a few). I'm guessing Revolutions will also be remixed into a lot of Stormblood's soundtrack.
After reading developers blog about FINAL FANTASY XIV Orchestra Concert 2019 -Eorzean Symphony. I suppose this sountrack is called Painted Red.

The main melody of Stormblood, which was used all over the place. "Not again!" I highly recommend listening to the part of the Stormblood trailer where it transitions from the Kugane cityscape to the Stormblood theme!
Oh wow! That's a great find! Thank you for sharing and I'll have to update the title over the weekend. Hard to believe it took us this long to finally put the mystery to rest. Even the Orchestrion roll had it just slapped on the end of the "Stormblood" track.

No name seems to have been revealed for this one just yet. Most are looking at it as the the 2nd theme of Stormblood at this point though as it does appear to be recurring in many of the revealed tracks so far.

after the disapointment of getting stand by me as the theme for final fantasy 15. i can only say.
THIS is what i call game music
I havent played final fantasy 15 i'll admit. but based on what i saw of the fight mechanics and the general story. i doubt i ever will. and if that style of combat is where square enix are taking us. then final fantasty 13-2 will be the last final fantasy game i buy.
add to that the fact that the story is just a bad copy of romeo and juliet where EVERYBODY DIES.
i didnt mind the ending or the general story of lighting returns but the battle style and the whole time limit thing are most definately not for me.
15 Is good in it's own way, however it still lacks the feel of say 12 and below. The story feels very incomplete which is a pity because the 4 main characters in terms of how they interact are really well done. I liked it better than 13 on the whole but something was missing for sure.
I think the stand by me was an a good song and it worked with the theme of 15.
i dont mind the song itself. but this is final fantasy. there's a tradition of japanese artists going back to the 90s. altho i'll admit that they broke from thaty tradition with final fantasy 13. but the point stands. the music in 8,9 and 10 are part of what made those 3 games so iconic in their time
