  • Hello dear!
    I hope you will forgive me but this time not all the stains are gone ๐Ÿ˜ฟ. As it happens in life, there are some things that we are not able to cope with 100% despite intensive efforts. This particular wool rug was very stained with ink, which is one of the most difficult and burdensome substances to remove. As you know, wool is a natural fiber, animal hair, and imagine how difficult it is to remove paint or stains from your hair. It may not be 100% successful. Nevertheless, the effect after washing is much better than before. I was really tired of this rug ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Feel free to watch and I wish you all the best in the New Year, a lot of strength and never give up in the pursuit of your goal๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜€๐ŸŒŠ.

    What people sometimes dont realise is we do not guarantee 100% removal of stains. Once a stain penetrates into the core of the fibers like dye, its very hard to get completely out. Great job on this one though Jakub. You did your best and im sure the client is happy ๐Ÿ‘

      Though ink isent really a dye though given that on paper it washes right off when it gets wet. I think its more like blood and wine which is also really hard to get out of carpets once its completely dried, atleast if its a thick enough stain.
      And as a cleaning service you can only spend so much time before you have to call it quits, unless you want to have angry customers accusing you of ripping them off with obnoxous prices.

    An amazing job, Jakub! In the before photo, I had no idea it was white. You did a very thorough cleaning. Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) is the only thing I know that removes ink. Even that is not reliable. The customer should have been pleased that you even tried, let alone did so well.

    • @boxwoodgreen
      @boxwoodgreen ๋…„ ์ „

      I've used rubbing alcohol for ink stains on clothing. Like a pen leak in a pocket. I find you have to isolate the stain area, or have a wet vacuum tip right on the spot. Or the ink spreads out and you get a bulls-eye stain. Dark in the middle, and a bigger, lighter ink stain circle outside.

    This is going to sound weird, but cheap shaving foam (like Barbasol for those in the US) works wonders on ink stains. I don't know what the equivalent would be in Poland but it would be the kind your grandpa or great grandpa used. Whatever softens your beard best will penetrate the fibers and get a surprising amount of ink out.
    Also, general tip for anyone who has kids: keep a can of it around. It'll take Sharpie, artificial food coloring, water based paint stains out of carpet and off of walls. Sometimes you need to let it soak, sometimes you need to scrub but it should lighten the stain considerably after each application.
