I think there needs to be a distinctipn between “canceled” and “caught commiting a crime” To me, an inappropriate (supposed) “joke” should not be held to the same standard as child grooming.
Yeaa it really irritates me. It’s like when you see a video of someone putting shoes on their dog and everyone in the comments is preaching animal abuse. It’s like bro grow up stop being a princess, you’re really putting someone putting little shoes on their dog and laughing at his walk for a few minutes in the same category as someone who starves and beats their animal to death? I’m sure the dog doesn’t enjoy it, but take a joke he’s not suffering.

@@Mypenisissmallbut I completely agree. Plus, shoes or socks on dogs can be very important during really hot summers or really snowy winters. Asphalt and concrete absorb a lot of heat and can become burning to the touch. Socks or shoes can help your dog keep their feet unburnt on their daily walks. And for snow, well I don't think I have to explain why having frostbitten paws is bad for dogs. Yes, dogs are not used to wearing shoes and can find it uncomfortable, but sometimes it's necessary for their health and wellbeing. It's ridiculous that some people call it animal abuse when it's really the opposite in many cases.

Man straight up when everything came out with Gus I was so mad. My Wife and I lost our kid due to an ectopic pregnancy and never in my life would I have thought about doing absolutely anything else than being in the hospital with my wife.
You know I wonder if there has been any studies done on KRplusrs and what seems like a very big proportionally amount of creators who are also groomers.
I think it’s worth looking into the Gus Johnson thing a bit deeper.
First, we need the context that she reneged on a full consensus they made as a couple that she would not have a baby if she were to accidentally get pregnant. Sabrina started to change her mind on moving forward with a pregnancy that they both agreed earlier they would terminate because they were not in a position to start a family. Gus would be justifiably upset in that situation. With this amount of turmoil, I believe most people probably would’ve handled it worse or maybe decided to split due to the change of decision.
I think if Sabrina felt the lack of support of her partner, (who she also reneged on regarding their already established consensus) and especially if she felt that way for months… she could have or should have left Gus. Feeling a loss of support from your partner is a reason to consider leaving them - but not at all a reason to frame them as abusive or a monster. Because for years, Gus was an extremely supportive boyfriend…he just was gradually put into a situation where he was between a rock and a hard place.
My opinion is that Sabrina what is dealing with more pain than she could express, and Gus was constantly helping her over the course of months, and didn’t really understand what was going on - because even Sabrina also didn’t understand what was going on! …Until that scary day for Sabrina where is she found out she actually had to go for surgery within a few hours and found out she even a chance of dying, which she didn’t even tell anyone in that trying time… So Gus was still out of the loop, and it seems like yet another day similar to the past 20 or so episodes of Sabrina complaining of a health issue that was continuously dismissed and misdiagnosed. The whole situation put Gus and Sabrina in a really bad place where it seemed neither of them were happy, and no one had any idea the severity of her situation until she was told she had to have surgery NOW!
I put most of the blame on her doctors who completely failed to listen to her or examine her correctly. Canceling Gus over it was extremely unnecessary, and what we should really concern ourselves with was the lack of support from doctors in believing her and her pain and failing to do their due diligence.
Also, I think looking at Gus’ friends’ reaction is a really poor indicator, because they were also getting fed information that made it sound like he was as abusive, when really he was supportive and then lost hope over time. A lot of it is really subtle: I was extremely upset at Gus at first, but once all the information was out there, it seemed much more like Sabrina‘s video was fairly manipulative, although I acknowledge she had gone through horrific event.
His friends are all very caring people and were getting this information from a very emotional video of someone they also care about, and they are very caring people - and this news seemed to come out of nowhere. The way Sabrina told the story made it sound like Gus was unsupportive throughout a very scary time… But this ignores the years beforehand were Gus was extremely supportive and maybe started to lose hope in his role altogether. Because he was not abusive throughout any of that time, it just seems extremely unfortunate that he was exhausted and indifferent on a day where she found out that she had to go into surgery and found out what was really going on. He didn’t have information about the severity of that day, and it was after many dozens of incidents where he supported her, bringing her to doctors and hospitals, and it seemed like yet another confusing episode of Sabrina not feeling well… and by that point he sort of threw up his hands and didn’t know what to do anymore. It doesn’t excuse the complete lack of support for your partner, but the way Ludwig summarizes it here and the way Sabrina summarized it made it sound like Gus is a monster.
I truly think almost anyone in Gus’s position would’ve handled it very similarly given all the context. It’s just so easy to hear bits and pieces and label somebody a monster. I think, as always, the lesson here is that it is usually a good idea to get all the details.

And it's weird that you gloss over the outright verbal abuse and even physically yanking the phone from her as "not being supportive", while trying to counter it by saying "before that he WAS supportive". It sucks to be let down by a public personality, but don't twist reality for them.
Jenna took accountability and removed herself from the situation before it turned into hellfire.

everyone saying jenna was canceled or bullied off, but that honestly isn’t true, she chose to leave. obviously certain things influenced that, but anyone who watched her content could tell that it was a long time coming. being held to the standards she was held to for so many years has to be incredibly exhausting, and she made the best decision for her mental health. i’ve been an avid fan of julien since it happened and according to him, she’s doing great! she made her choice, and while we all miss her, we should respect that.
to be fair, i think she just retired basically. i think she was tired but satisfied with her career and she just took it as an opportunity to leave and that's ok
uh... she 'chose' to leave when people started bring up all of her past controversies and hating on her because of it. It made her realize that youtube wasn't fun for her anymore and that she was depresssed and needed to get off the internet (something a lot of other more problematic youtubers should do). Just because it was her choice doesn't mean that she wasn't bullied off.

one of the greatest responses to being wrongfully accused and cancelled for something they didn’t do; pyrocynical. he took it in absolute stride, and even though it’s so horribly fucked up that he had to reveal so much personal shit, he managed to completely clear himself and weirdly strengthen support from his fans and connection with his audience.
Pyrocynical completely beat off the allegations, and did not suffer a single iota from his cancel attempt. He gets more views now than even back then. Happy for him tbh

As a former Gus superfan, the reason that I, along with the majority of the community can't watch him anymore is just because the entire community was built entirely around being kind and wholesome to one another, it was a very loving, supportive community. My wife had an ectopic pregnancy last year, and because of covid guidelines I wasn’t aloud to go into the hospital like at all. Very tough time for us, considering she had the operation done alone. But that aside we’re expecting our first boy early august! GG BOYS!

there was actually a time people attempted to cancel miniladd before he got actually canceled. His exgirlfriend came out with allegations about him being abusive and neglectful. Several large members in his community at the time supposedly covered it up although i dont know if that could still be proven. Those allegations came out about 5 months before he got full canceled.
I remember being pretty confused at what was happening at that time. I knew something was going on but could for sure tell. In the end, I realized he had definitely done something because the content being made with his friend stopped. All of his youtube friends had disappeared from his content completely. I figured at that point that they knew Mini better than I did and trusted them. I unsubscribed after years of being a fan.
same thing with skydoesminecraft aka netnobody. The shit he was doing got aired out by KSI in his disstrack on the guy in like 2019.. Somehow that was used to win custody of his kid back.... bet that judge is feeling stupid af now.

i believe his ex coming out with those allegations was the final breaking point for the girls. they believed that he could become a better person but once they heard the abuse was still present in his daily life they came out. the right opinion has a really good video on this situation.
The Gus situation was such a horrible situation. I had mad respect for the guy for years, and then it was gone in an instant.

Some of the things I remember her saying is that when she realized she is pregnant, she went to tell Gus and he said that a child would distract him from his career and that he doesn't have time for that (something along those lines). I think he also encouraged her to get an abortion because he didn't want to put his "career" "on-hold" for HIS child.
He emotionally abused and neglected his partner. That's enough for me and many others to not want to see his face any longer on here.

Speaking on the "bringing your partner to the hospital" thing, I had brain surgery to remove a tumor and my best friends were able to hitch a ride by any means and and visit me. My ex could not cause she was busy for the weeks I was in there. I'm glad I still have those friends to this day 6 years later.
I don’t follow most of the youtubers mentioned, but I was a big Gus Johnson fan, and seeing the video Abelina Sabrina posted utterly broke my heart. Not even for myself about Gus not being who I had thought he was, but for her and all the shit she went through. And that she put up with it for so long!! As much as I miss being a fan of Gus, I’m glad that shit came out so we can be more attentive to women (and even men) who suffer from that kind of abuse. It was fucking disgusting. And I’m really proud honestly of his friends for not sticking by his side. Eddy seemed genuinely shocked about it all, and was on Sabrina’s side fully.
I can only hope Gus learns to be a better human but you never know. I don’t think he should come back. :/

I just want to say (as lud said in the video) jenna did not get canceled. Its not like everyone was bringing up her old issues all at once it was just the build up over the years of negative takes on her content. She basically got tired and admitted that all of the hate hurt her more than she was showing before and for her mental health and happiness left the platform. Anyone who hasn't watched Sabrina's video on Gus' treatment of her should watch it. I NEVER expected Gus Johnson to be that kind of a person, and it goes to show how little you know about the internet personalities you follow. Like Lud said, his "drinking with the boys" was just one issue in the whole thing. He would insist on sitting in on Sabrina's doctor calls so that she wouldn't "over exaggerate" her pain and health issues. When she second guessed an abortion, he told her he would leave her if she kept the baby because it would ruin his career. And yes, she had to drive herself to a surgery that she could've died in. And she didn't have anyone supporting her from her family during this either.
Gus was a terrible boyfriend but for Ludwig to call it mental abuse is an insult to women who experience actual mental abuse. Don’t recall Sabrina saying Gus called her ‘a dirty worthless whore who would be better off dead” as I have experienced. Just food for thought on how you use language.
@@ayah922 I'm sorry you had that type of experience, but I do disagree with you that it wasn't mental abuse. Mental abuse can come in forms more subtle than just straight up insults. Him implying that she was always lying about her pain to the point where he wouldn't let her talk to her doctors without him being there to "correct" her about her pain is mentally abusive. He made her feel like a liar and like she was a drain on him when in reality she was suffering both physically and mentally. She said she would try her best to handle everything on her own because he treated her like she was a problem to him whenever she had to ask for help. That is not a normal way to treat your partner. Making your significant other feel ashamed of themselves for having an issue that is a very real and serious health concern is abusive.

My girlfriend of two years broke a glass candle and it sliced her foot wide open. I was downstairs at the time and I heard the crash of her fall and the breaking of the glass. I rushed up to a massive spill of blood and her crying and screaming in a panic. I immediately checked the wound for glass shards (luckily glass free) I cleaned it and wrapped her foot. I did my best to calm her down and get her to the hospital just in case. shes thanked me years later for that. That kind of thing really does stick with your women.

He lost his job, was kicked off twitch, lost all his fans, and hasn't been back since October 2020 (tried to come back Jan 2021 but got kicked back). And he deserved it too. I'm glad it's one of the ones that stuck.

Jenna saw what was coming before it got truly started on her and understood not ignore or fight it the way everyone else was doing. I think the fact that she did that truly shows that she had actually grown from her past actions and was truly sorry for her past actions. She was probably ready to retire from KRplus on her own terms any how.
Mad props to Ludwig, it is hard (near impossible) to stay neutral in these situations but Ludwig managed to make fun of the fuckups AND he didn't go that hard on anyone but told us enough so if you're interested you'll find out for yourself.

I want to point out I only know of this from Luds vid, so there may be things I don't know yet that change my mind. But so far I only know a guy around 25 sexting with a 17 year old. This is basically legal in every 'western' country except the US. And even there in half the states it depends on what happened exactly and could be legal. Yet these cases are treated like they done major crimes. I get if ppl don't like that behavior and unfollow or don't watch anymore, but I don't get the outrage. So there's many reasons why a case of a 17 year old and a 25 year old just isn't the same there to say Denmark where you can drink at 16, is expected to move out, get some form of income and take full responsibility of your own life around 18, and where a 17 year old and 25 year old could hook up legally.
But let's not forget that even in Denmark a 25 year old who uses a position of power to seduce a 17 year old, especially one he has some form of responsibility over(like say a mod of your channel) would certainly not be legal. Because age of consent does not mean anything goes, it's just one of many laws to protect young adults. Yes in Denmark if they met and dated as normal human beings, and even hooked up consensually, then it would be totally fine by the eyes of the law. But we know from actual lawcases in Scandinavia that this is not the case when it comes to abusing a position power for sexual seduction. Not at all.
So even in countries with a different cultural context, this would be seen as a pretty shitty situation and possibly illegal(even if there were no physical hook up) depending on what actually went down in the communication between the two(which I don't know any details about).
I will say though, that calling someone bae twice in a chat doesn't seem like enough to me, to prove abuse of power. So I am just assuming here that there's more to the story, than what Ludwig covered.

Or if they were, there is a law (Romeo Juliet law, in America) that explicitly states "If two individuals, with an age gap of three years or less, are in a relationship and one of them turns 18, or is already 18 or such, the individuals may have relations legally" He may have groomed someone but he did not illegally do anything with an underage person.

gonna be honest, the Mini Ladd one hurt. especially considering I grew up watching the Guy only to find out he was a manipulating asshole who caused audience devision between him and The Gaming Terroriser and the icing on the cake was that he was getting Frisky with the Kiddies. once it came out what he did, it felt like a hole had formed in my heart, cause it felt unreal that he would do something like this considering his precieved character was someone who gave to charity, made people laugh, and mocked the very people he'd become/ was. he was someone I and many people looked up to and was one of the creators that helped me think about uploading on youtube myself.
I remember one time he gave his community greenscreen footage and told them to go wild. I went and made my own video and was proud of how it came out, and I think the best feeling I got was when it showed up on one of his video's and got him gut-busted laughing... it feels different now.
The one that really got to me was Ryan Haywood. Wasn’t into KRplus drama, but when all that shit came out, I found I couldn’t enjoy any content he was associated with, and all the good memories and references had this permanent taint that prevented me from going back and enjoying when I didn’t know he was an cheating diddler.

I think it just goes to show that people put so much weight into the creators they watch and/or follow. You can like content creators, that’s no problem! You can *think* that they’re generally good people, but you have to remember that you’re only seeing what they want you to see. You don’t know them personally-you see a small percentage of their life that they willingly upload. So you literally can’t be ride or die with any of them.
That’s why I like Ludwig, especially in this vid, because he’s honest about having people jump ship.

The Hog Rider card is unlocked from the Spell Valley (Arena 5). He is a very fast building-targeting, melee troop with moderately high hitpoints and damage. He appears just like his Clash of Clans counterpart; a man with brown eyebrows, a beard, a mohawk, and a golden body piercing in his left ear who is riding a hog. A Hog Rider card costs 4 Elixir to deploy.
Strategy:-
His fast move speed can boost forward mini tanks like an Ice Golem in a push. At the same time, he can also function as a tank for lower hitpoint troops such as Goblins as he still has a fair amount of health. Most cheap swarms complement the Hog Rider well, as they are nearly as fast as him and usually force more than one card out of the opponent's hand.
The Hog Rider struggles with swarms, as they can damage him down and defeat him quickly while obstructing his path. Barbarians in particular can fully counter him without very strict timing on the defender's part, though be wary of spells.
A Hunter can kill the Hog Rider in 2 hits if placed right on top of it. However, if you place something in front of the Hog Rider, the Hunter's splash will damage the Hog Rider and hit the card in front of it more.
The Hog Rider in conjunction with the Freeze can surprise the opponent and allow the Hog Rider to deal much more damage than anticipated, especially if the opponent's go-to counter is a swarm, or swarms are their only effective counter to him. Skeletons and Bats will immediately be defeated by the spell, while Spear Goblins, Goblins, and Minions will be at low enough health to be defeated by a follow up Zap or Giant Snowball.
However, this strategy isn't very effective against buildings as the Hog Rider will take a while to destroy the building, giving the opponent ample time to articulate another counter.
Against non-swarm troops, it can deal a lot of damage during the freeze time, but this can allow the opponent to set up a massive counterpush. For this reason, players should either only go for a Hog Rider + Freeze when they have other units backing it up from a counterattack, or if the match is about to end and they need to deal as much damage as possible.
It is not a good idea to send in a Hog Rider simply to destroy a building, especially if it is the only building targeting unit available, as defeating Crown Towers becomes substantially more difficult. Spells or simply waiting out the lifetime of the building are more effective. The exception to this is an Elixir Collector placed in front of the King's Tower. If a Hog Rider placed at the bridge, he can destroy the Collector for a positive Elixir trade, though the damage from both Princess Towers will usually mean he does not survive to deal any damage to them. However, if the opponent sends in defending troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell damage value.
In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might be worth it to simply send the Hog Rider against one building. These decks shuffle their card rotation quick enough, that they will arrive to their next Hog Rider before the next building arrives in the opponent's card rotation.
Long-ranged troops like Musketeer and Flying Machine can snipe those buildings, preserving some of the Hog Rider's health, possibly allowing it to get some Tower damage.
When there are buildings placed in the middle to counter the Hog Rider, understanding the placement of the Hog Rider and the type of building placed can help the Hog Rider to bypass certain buildings.
Passive buildings such as spawners and Elixir Collector have a larger hitbox than defensive buildings; which means that if a passive building was placed 3 tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, then it is impossible for the Hog Rider to bypass that placement as the Hog Rider will get pulled to that building.
Defensive buildings have a smaller hitbox than a passive building, which means if that if a defensive building was placed three tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, a Hog Rider placed at the very left or right side of the Arena may be able to bypass it due to its smaller hitbox.
If the player has a building already placed down in the center of the arena, and the opponent tries to bypass it with a Hog Rider at the edge of the arena, they can use certain air troops to push the Hog Rider towards the building as it jumps over the river, effectively denying the bypass attempt. They must be already hovering over the correct placement, as very quick reflexes are required to correctly perform this technique.
For Bats, Skeleton Dragons, and Minion Horde, they should be placed right in front of the Hog Rider as soon as it is deployed.
For Minions, Skeleton Barrel, Mega Minion, Flying Machine, Electro Dragon, Baby Dragon, Inferno Dragon, Balloon, and Lava Hound, stagger the above placement one tile to the right if the Hog Rider is placed on the left side of the arena, and vice versa.
They can also use ground troops to achieve the same result. Something like an Ice Golem deployed at the Hog Rider’s landing spot will obstruct his path and force him to go around the unit, which causes him to be closer to the building instead of the Crown Tower.
The Hog Rider can kite Very Fast non-building targeting troops due to his own Very Fast speed and building only targeting if he is placed on the fourth tile from the bridge, slightly into the opposite lane. He can also stall grounded units when placed right at the bridge. He will pull them towards him while deploying, and then be untargetable by them when he jumps over the bridge. After landing, he will pull them back. This can be useful when the player needs to deal damage in the same lane they are defending. It will also help separate troops behind a tank in a large push.
A Tornado placed on the second tile front of the player's King's Tower and staggered two tiles towards the Princess Tower will activate it without any damage dealt to the Princess Tower, helping them in defending future pushes. This can also be a method of mitigating all damage dealt to a Princess Tower, but doing this more than three times may result in the King's Tower's health being low enough to be targeted directly, opening up the possible threat of a back door three crown. A better alternative is to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower into the attacking range of all three Crown Towers, which will negate all damage as long as none of them are already distracted
A very powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the Musketeer, and the Valkyrie, typically referred to as the Trifecta. The Musketeer will defend against most troops, while the Valkyrie can protect her and the Hog Rider from swarms or high damage units. The Hog Rider is used to deal damage to the tower.
This can be effectively countered by Lightning, one-shotting the Musketeer and severely damaging both the Valkyrie and Hog Rider. The Minion Horde is also effective, but the enemy can Zap them and the Musketeer will one-shot them all. Even if the Musketeer is defeated, the Hog Rider and Valkyrie will have enough time to severely damage the Tower.
The Hog Rider should be placed behind the Valkyrie to give it a boost so that it stays in front of the Hog Rider, protecting it.
A Hog Rider combined with a Goblin Barrel can be awkward for the opponent to defend against. Timing it so that the Hog Rider is tanking the tower shots for the Goblins is the most effective way to deal damage. However, a Barbarian Barrel can shut this down with minimal Tower damage for a positive Elixir trade, as long as the Goblin Barrel was placed directly on the Tower.
Pairing the Hog Rider with the Balloon can deal devastating damage. If executed properly, the Hog Rider will act as a tank while the Balloon threatens to deal massive damage. The Hog Rider can also destroy any buildings attempting to slow down the combo. However, this combo is very vulnerable to swarms and anti-air cards as neither of the troops target anything but buildings. Additionally, they are easy to separate, due to the disparity in move speeds. Alternatively, the Hog Rider and the Balloon can be played in different lanes to spread the opponent's defenses thin. However, a building or Tornado can bring them back together for an easier defense.
The Hog Rider can be paired with the Lumberjack as both a swarm bait and damage combo. It is a very fast combo with an extremely high damage output potential, so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a swarm. If this happens, use a spell like Arrows to render the opponent defenseless. If they manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even more dangerous than it normally is.
A fast and deadly combination is the Hog Rider and Mini P.E.K.K.A. combo. Both units are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does much more damage and does not attack only buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with troops like the Executioner and Musketeer. However, this combo can be defeated with swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat both of them since neither of them can deal area damage. They are also unable to target air troops, so the Minion Horde can stop this easily.
A risky play is to deploy the Hog Rider at the bridge as soon as the match starts. If the opponent does not react fast enough, the Hog Rider will deal a significant amount of damage to the Princess Tower. This can also allow the player to quickly scout the opponent's deck if they happen to react to him fast enough.
