Saw Coldplay last night at Metlife Stadium and this was by far my favorite song they did. Chris stopped the song about 1/3 of the way through and asked everyone to put their phones away and enjoy the moment. Incredible moment and a lot of respect for Avicii. Most energy from the crowd of the night with no phones.

This song is so beautiful. Coldplay gets the most credit for it, but this is really Tim's song. You can hear his influence all through it.

Just for you guys to know the way the song came about. It came into Chris’s head (singer of Coldplay) like most of Coldplay’s songs and he had the tune and lyrics, he had the title of it long before. Usually then he would show it to Jonny the guitarist but he jokingly said he cheated on Coldplay because he brought it straight to Avicii. Then they worked on it and they thought it would be cool to add a guitar riff from Jonny as well. Oh and this is a live version you can see in the description of the video.

I thought this was one of our songs as well until recently learning that out of over ten years and a child together she stopped loving me only 3 years in but stayed for the free house while looking to replace me with almost anyone. She couldve told me before we had a daughter that she just left with me and i have to now raise alone. Not even my worst enemies ever did me that dirty but the worst hurt can only come from those you love.

Not going to lie there's some parts of this I prefer over the one we got, like that "'Cause' in your eyes, in your eyes there's a spark" lyric to start off verse 2 (which Is hands down one of the most beautiful bits of music I've ever heard in my life) and a few elements of the second drop where some phrases were introduced differently than in the one that was released. Also I cant forget that little guitar riff that ended out the first drop into verse 2 and bridged from the chorus to drop 2.

I totally agree! The song is HIS! He produced it and helped write it with Chris Martin. The original and this version are essentially his songs, but were hijacked by Cold Play. They should have said AVICI in the production and writing section instead of Tim Bergling because a lot of people overlooked his real name.

But Coldplay had a beef with Tim's manager Ash, he was mad because he didn't wanted Coldplay to be first in the title which i can totally understand, A Sky Full Of Stars is Aviciis song without question. And then they removed Aviciis name from the title, and for that i will never respect them.

At 4:28 the song switches to the released version. This is actually not what was in the avicii mix. In the avicii mix the synth goes on for slightly longer and then ends. I have a master quality rip of the Avicii mix and i just wanted to make that distinction.
