Actually I'm curious what's the purpose of marking the bolts? I've rarely seen that as common practice by the mechanics
@@rizkyprilian2143 it's to save or mark the specified tighness of the oil filter or bolts for future use in this video he marked the oil filter cuz its plastic one more torque applied and it will crack

Because nowdays they have smaller engines and cars are getting bigger and bigger
Services are not that simple anyway. They either only do the changing of filters and oil, or not showing the full checklist which is required.
Because it’s supposed to be simple, in a normal car you have less work than the time it takes to drain the engine. Here you have a few panels and 3 drainage holes, down to earth engineer would make it so the holes were hidden with simple caps underneath and the air filter could be taken out without dismounting the side panels. That would also make them panels less prone to damage, and they really look flimsy as hell.

@@user-kb8gh5jv9t I doubt you had, as for example in Diablo it’s pretty much the same job, maybe even easier as you just drain from 1 hole and air filters are just boxes with good access. Things get hairy when you do REAL repairs and this one is no different, even shittier as it’s turbo’d.

You mean brake cleaner? He sprays brake cleaner and sprays it with the air hose. Brake cleaner evaporates quickly like that

You forgot to check dct and gear oil levels! This is required at every oil service. If the two fluids start mixing, it will cause catastrophic transmission failure and internal leaks will not give any fault on dash and won't be visible externally. It's in the yearly service inspection list

Yuup I Remember doing my 1st 348 F. For a oil change what a pain 😫 this video brings back memories I never done one of these cars before I just landed my 1st job right after I Graduated from Technical school for Cars
And my 1st oil change wow that Car was so super Ridiculous! It took me 1 hour to do and back then their was no KRplus video to show you. Back then you had to read super fat Books to help you do the job.

It’s not the oil changes that are expensive, but just the costs of driveline and brake parts are expensive.
Service is included for 7 years when you buy a Ferrari.

Nice and polite job, this mecanic is superb I hope all the mecanics were like that, he put oil before get out any piece and blow air on it before remove it to clean any minimum dust or dirty, he puts in the car the clean filters no touching it at all, its extremely, clean, carefull mecanic, with mecanic like him you can trust the job is well done, lucky the gay who own this precious car and can use this mecanic service.

My GLC63 costs some big bucks for service number 4 . Differential fluid change transmission flush engine oil breaks brake fluid change and I don’t use the regular stuff brake pads . Thank goodness for prepaid maintenance plans. It’s well worth it.

I miss working on the hardware, but I don't miss dry heaving in the morning before I step out of the house and stomach ulsers from the stress. Nice to see a filthy Ferrari, at least you know it gets driven and you can step into it a bit on the road test.
This will come in handy whenever I win the lotto to buy a Ferrari.

I love that this video demonstrate how much owners are overcharged. It could have been made even easier if there were access flaps in the floor plastic pan. Track day enthusiasts do this modification since they change oil frequently. But that would have cost more to build by the manufacturer as well as less profitable for their service department.
It's important to see the engine itself to check for any leaks/ developing leaks
Access flaps when you have 4 places to drain from on a plastic skid plate? No thank you lol, MUCH better to just take a few bolts out and loosen 2 clamps. you get oil on that skid plate and now you're cleaning it anyways which when you're dropping the plugs would be super easy. And overcharged? On a $250,000+ car there is no overcharging I don't care what it is. You've got a quarter mil or more to drop on a CAR, you immediately lose the right to complain about any costs associated with said car without being perceived as a complete douche. Most people would buy a house for that and take out a 30 year loan to do it, fuck your $1200 oil change or whatever the fuck it is, no ones crying for you. Also in the mechanical industry you pay for knowledge and access to the facilities. try doing this in your garage with a harbor freight 2 wheel lift or some shit, itd be a huge pain in the ass. just because someone fixes something also in a few minutes doesnt make it worth less money, you're perceiving that as $/hr but very few trades actually work like that, if I make your no start car work for $400 even though it only took me an hour to do, was it worth any less for the car to be running again? How long would it take you to use youtube and the internet to try to diagnose and fix it yourself? How much would it cost to buy all of the tools to do the job? If it was my ferrari and I didnt already work on cars, id pay whatever it costed to get it serviced. My 08 daily driver? No blank check but really you just gotta be sure you're working with someone honest, after that it costs what it costs for someone else to do it . you think mechanics don't use plumbers, roofers, electricians, Hvac techs, doctors? we do and we usually pay what they charge like everyone else
Very similar to TRD Toyota trucks with the stuff that has to be removed on the bottom first before an oil change.

Mas nota se não ser uma oficina credenciada Ferrari: não utilizou a chave eletrica manual para remoção dos parafusos das molduras, não utilizou a bomba de vácuo para remoção óleo carter, não utilizou o torquímetro pneumático ou manual para aferir a torção correta dos parafusos e por fim, ainda utilizou se de uma marcação incorreta de aferição, entre as porcas e o chassi do veículo. Me engana que eu gosto, ou o dono do carro, né......??

most likely parts cleaner, i go thru lots of it in my garage. dirt and engine internals do NOT mix. the classic cars I service eat gallons of rust - busting penetrating oil as well ... not an issue with new cars
