I made a famous street food in Korea, corn dogs.
(In Korea, it is called a hot dog.)
There are a lot of different toppings, so I made three.
It's really crispy and really tasty.
It's not difficult to make, so make it with your family.
*** Weighing is scale (g), rice spoon (tbsp), and teaspoon (tsp).

✤ Dough Ingredients
- 150g Bread flour (can be use plain flour)
- 50g Rice flour (you can substitute plain flour)
- 30g Sugar
- 4g Salt
- 4g Instant dry yeast
- 1(50g) Room temperature egg
- 100ml Warm water
✤ Ingredients
- 3 Sausages (12cm)
- Mozzarella cheese
- 5wooden skewers
✤ Toppings
- Bread crubms
- 1 potato (145g) + 1tbsp cornstarch (2 toppings)
- Half instant ramen noodle (3 toppings)
- Sugar
- ketchup
- Mustard
✤ TIP
- If you are allergic to eggs, replace with water equal to the weight of the egg.
- If you add cheese, fry it quickly over medium heat as it may leak if you fry it for a long time.
- For a quick fermenting tip, soak the dough in a pot of warm water for 1 hour.
Change the cold water once in the middle.

Just made these.. the batter is really good. This made 4 hotdogs so if you want more double the recipe. A tip for the dough to rise faster, use fast rising yeast and or use a space heater in the room to make it warm inside. If you’re frying without a deep fryer, make sure to rotate the hotdogs constantly to keep the batter from falling in one side. Another tip is to have one person coating them and one person on fry duty.

I made this today and it is amazing! I tried another recipe before and it was a total fail but this one was very successful. I got compliments from family and friends! This recipe made 5 small corn dogs for me. Another tip is to freeze the corn dogs for 30 minutes before you fry it. It will help keep the batter together and not fall out. I had some refrigerated overnight but it still turned out great!

just made this exact recipe a few days ago and its so delicious. tho i had problems with adjusting the recipe cause we lack measuring cups and spoons and we wanted to make more so we doubled the recipe but accidentally put more water and egg so we put more flour to get the right consistency. thankfully it still came out delicious.
oh and we just use all purpose flour for alternative since we dont have bread flour and rice flour.

I just made this corn dog yesterday and it turns out great. This I think the best recipe to use for starters in making Korean corn dogs. Because the dough sticks perfectly unlike the others that are a bit runny and gets lobsided when fried.
While this is just perfection and makes your corn dogs round after frying it.

@@zoletapauljustinec.3445 hey there! me and my family are experimenting for this exact reason haha (we plan on selling it in our cafe) so far you can just partially cook it then freeze them and the airfryer is the best way to heat it up tbh! never tried refrying but ill probably do it soon. I was wondering if you also tried the recipes without the yeast? does the yeast batter taste/feel better? let me know!!

I agree this is perfect for starters. The first time I made Korean corn dogs I used a recipe that was a batter and it was a disaster frying because it was too loose and the cheese was oozing out everywhere. I have made this recipe twice already and it is perfect and easy and the cheese doesn’t ooze out when frying because of the the dough. 😊

Acabei de fazer essa receita e é maravilhosa! Já tinha tentado o hot dog coreano com outra receita mas a massa ficou líquida demais, essa massa do vídeo é perfeita!! Por aqui deram 14 mini hot dogs do tamanho de meia salsicha😉
