My children have listened to this band since their inception. This is the first time I have taken the time to sit and listen/watch them. I now see what draws my children to them. The musicianship is amazing.

You should really react to the Original from ten years ago to see how much it changed without changing it at all really. And now he did very similar thing with a song called I'm not a Vampire and I'm not a Vampire REVAMPED.

I'll die on the hill that Ronnie is a master of voice control, range and the ability to seemlessly connect them in a way that coveys his emotion at the time.
His vocal ability and how he chooses to use this mastery is always important for everything he's created.

As far as remakes of a song go this is one of the very best, Ronnie is talented and puts everything he has into his music...absolutely nailed it with this track!

Wow… I’ve watched THOUSANDS of reactions to FIR/Ronnie at this point. I’ve always LOVED both his voice AND the lyrics in the songs… And payed attention to every single detail, learning something new every time! Also through his twitch streams. But holy… His voice is SO captivating that all the details in the singing distract me a bit from the lyrics sometimes… That’s probably why… This is the first time the lyrics of this song has hit me THIS HARD. It’s like he’s looking inside my brain and singing about it

Ronnie is an amazing artist and singer. I love this song. He just dropped a new song a few days ago. It's kind of the same direction as this one and not the usually style of the band (was far as they even have a typical style. They've always been very versatile). It's called I'm not a Vampire revamped. I'd love to see your reaction to it.

A suggestion: Wintersun - Loneliness (winter) its beautiful, strong, epic and insanely emotional! The singer wrote the song after his father died, and it really shows in both the lyrics and the voice. I'm normally not the emotional type, but i cry like a child when i listen to that song.. (partly because i lost my father when i was just a kid)

They are a punk rock/post hard-core band and this is actually a remake of the song "the drug in me is you" which was faster and harder rock. And the vocals are different but amazing In the original also. More punkish and agressive.

Loved the reaction def a priceless reaction. And all rockers love in a sense to torture others. At least in my case but talent and beauty no matter how brutal and scary I can't help but acknowledge.

Knowing what 'the princess' in this video represents in terms of how life can sometimes conspire in wierd ways to teach valuable lessons.. it thrills me to see the symbolism of her complete destruction and how that creates the opportunity for a more cautiously informed future.

The original version was not something I would have been a huge fan of at the time. This remake is artistically stunning and very well composed.
Knowing a bit about the personal backstory, the emotional investment, self-betrayal, and enlightened reinvention of himself makes all the difference.

Since you enjoyed some symphonic metal earlier, you might like Epica as well. Some of their songs might be even more up your alley since it has more classical vocals then Nightwish's Ghost love score.
You might like "Abyss of Time" or "Sancta Terra" (with or without a guest performance of Floor Jansen and a full blown symphonic orchestra)

Honestly, I think my fav part is like 6 mins in where you go to pause, but the passion and beauty of his singing stops you in your tracks and you just can't bring yourself to pause it
