That Oggdo-Boggdo was seriously difficult. Even more in Jedi Survivor, because those Oggdo’s tongue grapple attacks are an instant kill, which you can sometimes escape by using slow. If you’re lucky, slow glitches you out of the grapple. But in Fallen Order, if you’re at a reasonable difficulty, it’s just a highly damaging attack, that you CAN survive with enough health. And can I say fighting TWO of them at once, is just a nightmare. (Not as much as a Rancor though…).
little trick i found for fighting both the Oggdo's and the rancor's is that even a single blaster shot when they begin an unblockable attack will cancel their attack and stagger them, giving you an opening to perform a combo on them with your secondary stance for some high damage.
In fallen order when oggdo is about to do the tongue attack you can force pull his tongue out and chop it off. Rest of the fight is trivial. In Survivor oggdo was like the vader of all animals
@@FannyBasher9000Sure but on Gm difficulty if you fuck up the timing just once during that fight (and it's long) you die instantly. Atleast on its unblockable attacks. The only way I could beat it was to pull the two "hammer guys" into the pit with me. And even then it took several trys.
Fun fact: that whole repulses turning Stormtroopers to dust thing was only a game mechanic for censorship. In reality, when Starkiller tapped the deepest into the Force at the cloning lab, his repulses were strong enough pulverize the growing clones' bodies, turning them into paste and making a red mist out of their blood.

Hey, you have to consider the training both Cal Kestis and Galen Marek went through. Galen received a lot of training based on Sith teachings. Hence, why he's able to do far more brutal things than Cal.
Not to mention the fact that Proxy was programmed to try to kill him at least once a day ever since Galen was a kid, and had programings of lightsaber styles from various jedis and siths he data on
And he was trained under Vader himself throughout his life before his first mission. So it must be one hell of a training that we yet to know he was put under besides being trained by proxy
Starkiller was everything you wanted to be, and Cal was that realism aspect. Starkiller never really struggled throughout the story as much, and I was kinda relieved when we had a protagonist in Fallen Order who didn't just absolutely body Darth Vader
Saying he didn't struggle at all is a bit much. Yes, his power allowed him to win all of his fights, but he only got that way due to brutal training under Darth Vader. His struggle is mostly internal as he transitions from Sith apprentice to Jedi. In the books, his force and lightsaber abilities are closer to par than depicted in game. He is powerful, but not overpowered. Even in the games, he fights like a very strong rogue who has a bag of tricks that can capitalize on his opponents weaknesses. Not someone who just bodies every strong opponent instantly.
Cal can't even 1 shot a normal ass stormtrooper he is not realistic at all xD....can that dude even throw a lightsaber in game? I swear I've never seen it happen a single time

Cal's dark mode at the end of Jedi: Survivor story had me feeling incredibly strong I got to kill some of the toughest enemies with ease using that ability. It really did remind me of Starkiller's unleashed mode. I can only hope that in a dlc or a 3rd Cal Kestis game he gets to spend more time being incredibly strong. That said there's also a new game + perk that makes you and all enemies do a lot more dmg could be a little bit closer to that power fantasty.
I'd love to play at Vader level for part of the game just like the dark side power up at the end of survivor. Heck even a dark skill tree would be cool! Cere being an original character killed by Vader builds up the villain in the narrative and builds a narrative for Cal. However I'm worried that a fight with Vader would be made canon and if it is then we know Vader doesn't die.
If I was a storm trooper... and I was given the choice of having to fight Starkiller or Cal Kestis.... I think I'd be part of the very long line of people in the queue to fight Cal because nobody in their right mind wants the level of smoke that Starkiller would be fixing to bring your way 😂

Oggdo Boggdo is a trial by fire, every death at his hands is a lesson and every respawn you come back stronger. And by the time you're finally strong enough to beat him, nothing else can stand in your way. And the best thing is, learning to beat Oggdo is like riding a bike. But when hearing those complaints about how big it is, am i the only one who remembers Yoda talking about how "Size matters not" to Luke and how Luke struggles with the X-wing because of the mental weight hes giving it?
Ok, but hear me out, size matters not, is like saying the weight of a gallon of milk ain’t much, and you can get used to it to an 8 yr old, mean while, starkillers out here deadlifting 1,000+lbs and being chill about it, not to mention them fucking cells or whatever that are apart of the force that birthed skywalker, forgot the name, they limit the power of ones compatibility with the force, anakin was one of the most powerful Jedi ever in that time because of it, and starkiller spits in the face of that too, it’s not so much size that matters, it’s scale, the star destroyer was probably trying to move away from him to escape, and still couldn’t, this makes him the only force capable person, I think ever, able to theoretically pull an asteroid in from space and just drop it, killing everyone, which, if done right, could compete with the likes of the Death Star, especially the second one, of which was a super weapon, and used as star wars equivalent of a nuclear bomb. Yeah I mean, Cal had almost no training after the purge, then he just ignored his force powers for a really long time, if he actually kept training and had a mentor I bet he would be somewhat comparable to Galen
Cal basically missed out on a decade of training. Plus, I reckon a good amount of training he did get was just theoretical basics, whereas Starkiller got nothing but constant combat training.
This video got me thinking. Starkiller, pulled a starship down, with great difficulty, but he still did it. Tulak Hord, the Lord of Hate pulled a cruiser from a planet's orbit. He's also known as the greatest lightsaber duelist, often depicted with a reverse grip. Vader gave Starkiller a second lightsaber because Jar'Kai (two handed fighting) is weak against Djem So, the form Vader often uses.

Cal doesn't know Force Slow (but you're right, it is a Sith move); he has Force _Stasis_ which, like, it's not a _Sith_ move but it _is_ the same move Kylo Ren uses to stop blaster bolts mid-air. Force Slow is actually more along the line of using the Force to make your enemy tired so they slow down.
@@TipoIrritable It's a shame that his greatest feats aren't canon anymore. I wish canon Luke had more skills from his Legends counterpart. The Force Projection thing was cool, though. Probably the only part of that movie I liked.
There's no such thing as Jedi move, Sith move, and any other shit. Force belongs to everyone. Jedi and Sith are just sects using Force in their specific ways because of how they have been teached by their masters. If there's Jedi, Sith then any other Force sect can exist too.
@@LukiKruki I never denied the existence of other sects; I just called Force Slow a Sith move because that's what most people are familiar with. Would you have prefered that I call it a 'Dark-side Ability'? Or do you deny the existance of the Dark Side?
The slow mo ability is called Stasis. You surround the target with energy and either slow down everything caught in the blast or stop movement entirely. It’s actually a neutral power as Jedi and Sith have used it.
I read a time travel fanfic where the council had to call a meeting to discuss Cal using Stasis cause they thought it was the dark force’s Slow. It was really funny.
SPOILERS FOR JEDI SURVIVOR I mean regardless of what we calling it Cal DEFINITELY started using the dark side version of it at the end of the most recent game. I do think the original was dark side-y tho based on lore and the fact it stemmed from his emotional reaction to his master dying
See Cal was barely trained, although it was by a decent Jedi Master, and spent most of his life repressing his force sensitivity. This meant he basically had to relearn everything, although he did get help, and make a name for himself. While Starkiller was sorta trained by a Jedi early on and then was trained by the most powerful force user in the universe, Darth Vader (well he would be but getting chopped up like sushi and being put into a suit that limits you is not very good). He then went on the learn stuff from Kota. So y'know obvious power difference. But yeah both are cool in their own way, if you want grounded Cal is for you. If you want strong endless power, Starkiller is for you. Although one thing I like is the Emperor is always one step ahead and that Vader is no easy feet.
*Casually raises hand* Um... actually, it was falling out of orbit towards the planet. He redirected it so it didn't kill him, not straight up pulled it out of the sky. So nah, he couldn't do that. But still, not at all shabby for something that weighed about 40 million tons.

5:16 Meanwhile starkiller killed the thing that ate a rancor like a potato chip
Ogdo bogdo could beat starkiller and cal teaming up. Probably because we would ambush them at level 1.
In fallen order when oggdo is about to do the tongue attack you can force pull his tongue out and chop it off. Rest of the fight is trivial. In Survivor oggdo was like the vader of all animals
It’s just about timing you’ll die at least 5 times but you’ll get it eventually what I hate about it is how far the save area from it is
@@FannyBasher9000Sure but on Gm difficulty if you fuck up the timing just once during that fight (and it's long) you die instantly. Atleast on its unblockable attacks. The only way I could beat it was to pull the two "hammer guys" into the pit with me. And even then it took several trys.

I dunno. Calling Cal a jedi feels kinda wrong when he regularly taps into dark side. Grey jedi suits him more tbh.
