Hwasa released her first solo album and absolutely smashed it. Instantly became the hottest female in Kpop, 2 of the biggest songs of the year. So many TV appearances, music show performances, and luxury advertisements. She took her time making this album because she had other commitments (2 Mamamoo albums, refund sisters, I live alone) ….. and now she is back to remind the whole Kpop industry that she’s the hottest female in the game. @@smileyface8434 Her agency made a mistake and she had no knowledge of english, so it happened...No excuses. Since then she educated herself and apologized many times. I believe people can make one mistake by ignorance and that's what happened.
But don't reduce a person to a mistake that was made many years ago, don't overshadow her accomplissments and values by that fact. She has grown and learned from it...
So if you don't wanna listen to her songs, it's your choice, but when you leave a comment, make it constructive because just spewing your anger many years later won't do no good at all...
I say that she is a healthy role model today because Hwasa promotes a healthy body in a society where the social norm is to be hella thin especially in the kpop industry.. She empowers many people and women around the world by her words and songs !!
Hwasa said : *"if i don't fit this generations standards of beauty, i will create my own standard"*. That sentence has litterally changed my life !
So please spread love around you and like i said if you can't moove on from that fact, i can understand it... But if so, then just stop listening to her songs, looking at her videos and don't support her, it's as simple as that...
@@smileyface8434 even as someone who has set a foot in college, ive only known about racism that the black folks face after blm and the whole shane dawson debacle. literally didnt now what blackface, blackfishing, and many racial actions & terms surrounding black culture are. it is such a rare occasion for asian country to study other countries’ history in depth (i personally never study history of the world, only history of my country). i think hwasa & mamamoo are at most *ignorant*, but not racists. sure, theyve done the deed. but they also have apologized many time and learned from it.

Mamamoo, either as a group or solos, might not get the astonamicaly high amount of views or popularity that others might get, but, one thing that cannot be denied is that these Queens have astonamicaly high amounts of talent that will continue to amaze and astound way past the "new and shiny" effect. They are already admired and respected by seasoned and senior artists. I feel they will continue to deliver top notch music, again, as a group or solos, for a looooooooooong time to come..
