Wheein's letter: "Hello. This is Mamamoo Wheein. Our moomoos, as well as many people who have cheered for me. All of you must've know it through official reports. Since trainee days till now for 10 years, we have laughed together and have slowly came to where we are now, I am leaving RBW who is just like my hometown and I'm ready to move to a new environment. Because this is the first time in my life I'm experiencing this, it felt foreign, difficult and I'm swarmed by many different feelings. I was able to receive that much love thanks to our RBW family who have been with me and working hard for a long time. I would like to thank them sincerely.
Moomoos who have been with me during the brightest 7 years of youth in my life, thank you so much. Cried a river watching Where Are We Now docu on netflix. Given the hardships, unsaid words and sentiments with each other, internal conflicts they went through, I just realized how strong MAMAMOO really are. There's this feeling of pride and hope as I stan these women. As MAMAMOO continues on, I will also continue supporting and loving them.

Why is no one talking about Moonbyul? Her voice is so soothing, I just wish she had more lines in the song.

This is a special song to the fans, about their 7 years journey in KPop as Mamamoo and WAW is their FIRST album that has full ballad. So please, do not say that this is their last song. Since I'm going to interact every now and then in the comment section, lets tell one fact about mamamoo that baby moos or listeners dont really know. Do you know that Mamamoo are truly made up of 2 pair of soulmates and that how they came to be is truly destiny? Solar auditioned for over 50 agencies but was not accepted into a single one, and she made up her mind that she'd auditioned for RBW, and if she failed that one, she'd quit her dreams of being a singer, but she got accepted into RBW and debuted. Wheein and Moonbyul was actually in the same group during trainee years at a different company, but Wheein left and not long after Moonbyul left as well. Byul thought they wouldn't meet again, but as destiny had determined for them, they met at RBW and yes, debuted together as Mamamoo. Wheein and Hwasa actually meet during middle school as they were from the same hometown, and both of them went to Seoul to train and finally debuted together as well.
Destiny really planned Mamamoo carefully, what an amazing group!

But, Mamamoo thought they should release the songs as an 11th mini album with Where Are We Now as the title track since us MooMoos were anticipating a comeback for a long time. That's why, they released it. That's why, they promoted this song for only a week on music shows. This was not supposed to be a comeback. This is a gift song from Mamamoo to us MooMoos!

MAMAMOO was the first band that RBW ever debuted.Back then, there was no one to encourage them , they had to do their own makeup,fix their own hair and promoted themselves even on the streets.On their day of debut,their only audience was their family members and a friend ,their screen time on music shows was edited out, hosts on shows questioned about their band name MAMAMOO making weird gestures and questioned about Hwasa's age stating that people mistook her as a married woman due to her appearance.
Many people even told them that they will flop just because they did not meet the Korean Beauty Standard.But years later they were able to make their own name in the industry by their own hard work.The determination and sacrifice are no joke and now they are one of the top groups of their generation.From bottom to top -MAMAMOO.

I just got into Mamamoo literally today and I'm obsessed with these women. I'm so upset I never really gave them much thought before but I think I'm about to stan my first ever kpop girl group!

*MAMAMOO IS NOT DISBANDING* . Wheein did not renew her contract with rbw as their full time artist *but she signed a contract with them to be able to participate with mamamoo's group activities* until December 2023. *Nothing really changes* , it's just that rbw now has no say in wheein's solo music and they cannot tell her to do anything they want her to do unless it's related to mamamoo group. You don't have to worry about her not being in group activities like the other artists that also said they will not leave the group but will leave the company and then never showed up in group activities because in Wheein's case there is an *ACTUAL CONTRACT*
IN KPOP, When a group reaches their 7th year mark and they decided to still continue as a group, the contract usually lasts for 2 - 3 years only, which means, wheein did not leave and her extension contract with rbw will end at the same time with the other three members. THEIR CONTRACTS ENDING IN 2 - 3 YEARS ALSO *DOES NOT* MEAN THEY WILL DISBAND, a re-negotiation will take place and they can renew again if they wanted to (even wheein) , they can also sign under different companies but still do group activities as mamamoo.

Popular opinion: Everybody agreed mamamoo are the best female vocalists ever.

I don't want to listen to this song with the pain inside me one day, but should be people who listen to it, I respect them, I hope they will be very happy and relieve their pain
