I saw her today the first time and also hear her the first time... I live with heavy depression and other mental illness. I can't even describe how she touched me with that song. I could cry because I've lost my family and my whole youth because of my fam. But know I'm on a better way and getting my live together, have a beautiful boyfriend and finance who loves me and supports me with every inch of his body and force. He is the reason why i am still alive... Without him i wouldn't be here anymore and im thankful that I've meet him and i was able to change my life.

A dying person becomes surprisingly wise. It's probably because she has stopped worrying about it and all she can think about is how to spend what's left (of her life) the best way she could. She has conquered death already. It's ok.
Just don’t forget we are all dying…one moment at a time. Some of us faster than others or in different ways, but all headed in the same direction. Some of us just don’t know it yet or aren’t facing the pain daily, but it’s the one guarantee we have in this world, someday we all die. Thank God she is safe in His arms already.

I will never forget her. It was this day that I met her. I watched her AGT audition performance. It was so beautifully angelic 🥹🥺. Then, it’s really heart breaking cos she passed away on my birthday. It was February 19. 😢
I just want to say I have depression problems pretty much lost my life my career everything I own, some friends some family. I don't eat muchfrom my depression and my health is deterating.I secluded myself in my room for almost five years. from the first time I seen nightbird on America Got Talent I literally broke down in tears. She inspired me to get the hell out of my room in trying to get my life back together that I've lost. I watch the video everyday just to keep going so I thank her for that

Yet she's doing it so casually and so naturally without saying she's a role model. Her actions, mannerisms, talent, voice, and story just blended so perfectly and came out to be so powerful and so life giving. This is more than a performance. I thank God for your life, Jane. I will never forget this feeling. How God use you to spark hope in me when I needed it the most. You came so perfectly and I know many more feel the same. I have so much to say, I can't. I'm almost 60 and I've got 2 Brain Tumors and I thought I was doing OK but it was a lie, for sure. After listening to Night Bird sing on AGT for 2 mins and hearing her story she opened my eyes to those lies I was telling myself and she will never know just how much she has helped me by doing that for me.

Hers is beyond just positive thinking. When she spoke it was so real and palpable. She's Heaven sent for us going thru depression.
I Cured my suicidal depression and anxiety through Ketosis and it might help you too. I also use ashwagandha and vitamin D3 and have been depression/anxiety free now for 3 years. I'm 35 now and was depressed since I was 5yrs old.
You are not alone. Various degrees of anxiety is a lifetime struggle for me too. Medication, diet, exercise, sleep, faith, and believe it or not accepting that I struggle with anxiety. Accepting it. This has helped me so much. It is counter intuitive and paradoxical for sure. Trying to control our mind is impossible. Learning that I have a tendency towards being anxious allows me to acknowledge it, as if to say to myself... "there's the anxiety, acknowledge it, and refocus on the task at hand." It's simple and complex at the same time. Much love friend.

Does it ever get easier? I'm in med school right now, hoping to work in neuro-oncology in the future, and when recently I for the first time saw a patient die from cancer, it really hit me what I'm choosing to do with my life. I know I can do it, and I have mentors who've assured me both that they have that same confidence. I'd make the same choice either way, but is it always this hard?
The most important lesson I think my mentors have imparted is that in the long run the beauty found in being able to be there for patients, to hold their hands and provide comfort through the suffering outweighs the pain for us of watching so many people die. Back in May when Nightbirde's AGT video hit KRplus, a dear friend sent it to me. I immediately filed her famous quote into my journals and the back of my mind - "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you try to be happy."
R.I.P Nightbirde. I discovered this song from an audio on Instagram and only recently found out that she passed. This is such a beautiful song, I'm glad it exists.

This song sounds like it's already on the radio, and she should have a record deal already!!! Such optimism and strength - I so admire her! I wish her much success on AGT and in the music industry, and I pray for her healing and strength.
She will, even if she doesn't win the show. She's already more famous than the winners.
It's just my opinion, but I don't think this original song of her is ready to be released to mainstream listeners...too repetitive lyrics, especially the bridge.

At first the sentence "Is OK" used to be just an OK sentence but NIGHTBIRDE has made it a MOTIVATIONAL and INSPIRING sentence that people all around the world reflect on that there is that HOPE that we all seek. If could exchange my life for hers I will do it 101 times cause I have had my share of IS OK and I'm OK now.
I was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the start of 2021 and now just finished my last consolidation chemotherapy.
