Well done on the riddle! There are a few shortcuts for solving it, and of course you can do a full logic grid if you want. It's essentially a reskin of Einstein's Puzzle. The devs gave you the freedom to essentially skip the entire map if you really wanted to just go straight to Stilton's mansion, which I respect. But doing that feels to me like giving up a map's worth of gameplay, and I'm glad you're taking the time to do it thoroughly over multiple parts. On Bonecharm Crafting: it is exactly as brokenly powerful as you think it is. That's especially true if you have some of the most OP ones, and you do--Spirit Water x4 means infinite mana from any faucet, and Lucky Needle x4 means about a 2/3 chance of getting your darts back. Speed traits stack too.
Kudos on bothering to solve the door puzzle. I want to say I gave it a go but after 10 mins I said to hell with it and delivered the overseer to Paolo 😂 And yes, knocking out Paolo twice is worth it solely for the granny rags hand jumpscare 😂
Dishonored 2 rightfully gets the props for its level design, but it's underappreciated how fantastic an evolution from Dishonored 1 it is in terms of artistic style. The game looks incredible, and probably will in ten years.
congrats on solving the riddle i didnt do that until my second playthrough, fun fact the riddle is randomized everytime so you cant even look up guides
Well... You can, actually. Though those are not really guides but calculators. The names and locations and whatever are randomized, true, but they still follow the same pattern
I'm always in awe of the people who manage to solve the riddle all on their own. I'm really bad with this type of riddles, too much to keep track of, attention span go brrrrr
Quickest (non-shortcut) way is to set up a 5x5 table with each name, drink, color, etc listed in each cell, and then highlight the givens like “red” in the center column, “Finch” in the first column, and so on, while crossing them - and any given contradictions - out elsewhere. It becomes Sudoku, sort of, and is rather quickly solved. And then, yes, you walk away and do everything else in the district before entering the mansion :)
I have to say, thnx mapo! You really don't have to go out of your way to do the paulo or bryne stuff except getting the bone charms and runes but you're going the full way with both and as I'm re experiencing the game through you I really appreciate it Also congrats on solving the door lock! I could never, I gave it a good attempt my first playthrough but ended up getting the clues for it
Congrats on solving the riddle, I’ll admit it took me a bit longer when I did it myself 😂 I hope you end up taking paolo to the overseers instead of just clearing out their stronghold like you did for the howlers (or at least wait until you bring overseer Byrne, Paolo’s body) because you can get some really cool interactions with them and I feel like you’re missing out on some interesting story points with not choosing a side and just wiping both sides out. Obviously it’s your play through so you can do what you want but I will suggest doing it just to get the most out of this quest.
4x Choke Speed 4x Movement speed 4x Lucky Needle 4x Spirit Water 4x Stun Mine Range Black Bonecharm : Possession knocks targets unconcious once released. I'm on NG+ and the game only gets better the stronger you are at the highest difficulty.
My favorite run through on this game was No Powers Ghost. Would probably be horribly boring to watch, as there was a ton of time spent lurking in a corner and waiting for the right opportunity to make a move, but playing it was nerve racking and super fun.
You're approaching one of the most loved missions in this game
Great job with that puzzle, mapo. My monkey brain was getting twisted up just from watching you solve it

I will never not be calling Aramis Stilton "the big cheese"

Man the lighting in this game is just plain gorgeous.

If you’re doing a high chaos playthrough, sokolov will give you a spring razor. That’s the beauty of dishonored, the world adheres to how you play
And next up is one of the best levels, and one of the best outcomes (depending on your actions) in the series.
I always loved the riddle and how satisfying it was to get it. Nice work

4x Lucky Needle
4x Spirit Water
4x Stun Mine Range

4x stun mine range seems a little excessive.
Good job on the riddle! Super happy to watch you get it.
Very good show and a very strange ending note lol 😙
23:48 maybe you should try a no powers run, maybe platinum it!?

@@velinion1 if done right, it can work to be interestig
These are fun missions, but when I'm replaying it, I definitely prefer the Dust District level to the mansion.
