Its wonderful that you can be the victim of a crime, and the people supposed to stop those crimes just ignore you
Yeah it happens more than it should I believe. Even when there is actual danger the police also don’t always do something for it.
But if your lawn is 1/2 taller than it is supposed to be,trust me then the cops get involved. Police are worthless and these porch pirates know it that why they do this in broad daylight.

What happened to me is my post office carrier stole a package of mine sign my name, it was a insurer package .I sent the post office a copy of the signature I told them its wasn't mine and I wanted to have them get a handwritten expert to compare my signature against it.
They did nothing the carrier said he delivered it and that was the end of it.

Way back we used a box with another box inside in that box a bag of dog, and fox,/deer urine , the corners of the outside box inside had small blades so if the box was opened the inner box would unload the contents .. a stinky mess ... First victim a local thug stealing .. his car smelled for a year and he couldn't sell it ... Lesson learned ..

It amazes me how many times this got stolen. I didn’t honestly think there were this many people who brazenly stole things off peoples porches.

I don't really think there are. I mean how believable is this whole setup anyway? Spend 6-months on a revenge scheme for people long gone? Was his packages being stolen in the meantime? He spent all that time GPS tracking people, but didn't think to give all that evidence to the police? Those people would definitely steal again if this wasn't staged, which I'm thinking it is. I would've rather watched them all get busted.

it's a VERY common problem.....
There's a video up here with someone with a porch pressure pad which blows blast caps which sound like a gun. That guy had about 8 or 9 people attempt theft in that video.

* Include 1-time use stink bomb packets or something that can be broken open by a mechanism

Surprised that the police weren’t interested, considering that interfering with someone else’s mail is a federal offense.
That just means they can throw the book at you if they want. It would be silly to pay someone to pore over video footage, do interviews, do stakeouts, etc for a $50 package. Just gotta have the deliveryperson leave it somewhere out of sight.

The police don't work for us. When my car was stolen and found like a week later there was bottles with DNA evidence and fingerprints on them and they were just throwing away by the police no investigative work at all
Talia selyse Pierce it’s a priority of time and recourses. The police are underpaid to begin with, so you can’t expect them to be on top every possible case.
