I'm guessing Peter will be out of commission until December. That way he'll be able to make his triumphant return to coincide with the New Spider-Man movie. Because that's how you sell comic books.

Ben Reilly isn't a new character. Ben Reilly has existed since the 80s.
He's gonna be taking the mantle of Spider-Man in Peter's absence, this isn't the first time this has happened aswell. Imo Ben Reilly is a much better Character than Miles Morales.

I've read 700+ Spider-Man comics, starting from Amazing Fantasy #15. It's been a wild ride. I'm almost to the most recent comics. Super pumped. It's fun to see the progression of pop culture references and technology within the the comics.
I'm a new reader and i first started with the classic 60's series and i got bored and now I finished my first series,the 2006 spectacular spiderman and duude that was epic and the MORLUN fight at the end 🔥 I am planning to read the newer comics first and then the classic

I have a theory that at the end they try to to team up to fight Ben and almost kill him, possibly due to some false information that he staged the U-Foes or something like that, or maybe Beyond has something to do with it, until Peter personally appears and stops them before they can kill Ben for like the 28th time or something

Please just let Peter and MJ get married in #74 and finally have the chance to create the family that was taken from them. Let Mayday Parker finally be brought to the 616. I hope Mayday can grow up slowly over time, and like Bruce Wayne, Peter Parker doesn't visually age and they can go on adventures together! How awesome would that be!?! Hopefully Peter is just taking time off to build his family and then he'll come back soon to team up with Ben Reilly etc etc. The future is very bright as long as Marvel doesn't decide to freaking kill Spider-Man again

Take my money Marvel, take it. You could have done this years ago! I’ve only waited 20 years to start buying Amazing Spider-Man on a regular again. Take note; a lot of us want an ongoing Ben Reilly solo; even after you guys and gals slide him back into the Scarlet Spider role. But if you can keep Otto and Miles as a Spider-Man as long as you have, then having Ben and Miles as a Spider-Man too shouldn’t be a problem. Would love to buy the Sensational Spider-Man starring Ben Reilly again.

I wish Peter got some down time with MJ after the whole sinister war story arc. But seems like that ain’t gonna happen.
The best part of sinister war arc has been the retconning of sins past storyline which was one of the WORST Spider-Man stories, (second only to one more day in my opinion)
I’m so glad that they finally retconned sins past, and now I’m sure Peter and MJ will get married again, so that’s also OMD gone. Thanks Nick
