But on that v2 VS v3 thing. Maybe you could smash it out in v2, get it roughed out how you want it, then continue the track in v3 repeating things like intro, then verse & chorus to get it polished from what you liked in v2. When you continue a song it uses what is already there as the inspiration moving forward and isn't likely to turn it into a Bollywood song. Nice video, Matt. Suno saves me 5000 EUR on each song I create with it. And I'm not limited to the range of any musician. I have all music styles available now from German Volksmusic to experimental trap or acapella, choir or anything I can think of. It takes quite a bit of trial and error and adjusting the lyrics to fit the rhythm but man, I'm flashed about the possibilities this opened for me and my students.

Suno also generates instrumental but you dont have as many dials. However you can sometimes use the lyrics section to put chord progressions.
Eg [Chorus (Am, C, F, Dm)]
(I know nothing about music so i dont know if thats a good chord progression last time i did this i asked chat gpt for the chords that evoke the mood i was looking for)

Not particularly, a bit bland. Maybe F-Dm-Am-C at a push.. a lot of similar notes in most of the chords with one outsider whichever one you try to make as the root. What you need is a G! Nice landing chord. Still, can see how useful the approach could be

Awesome video and you saved me so much time! I'm a songwriter and have been testing various AI software apps to see if I could get one of them to do what Suno does. But this kind of research is so time-consuming which is why you are my goto source of recommendations on the latest and greatest. I can write my own music, lyrics, arrangements, etc., but an AI app like Suno would be so valuable to test doing songs in different styles and also for creating whole songs based on a prompt. Thank you for saving me hours of time when my time is extremely limited because I have so many new AI Apps I'm trying to learn.

Suno is not only amazing but oh so fun, we sat until 5am in the morning on discord just screwing around with it, a lot of amazing and funny things came out of it. Its very basic and repetitive on default but if you take time on prompts it can really create exactly what you want. Say you have the custom mode and in lyrics you write [guitar solo] it actually puts it in. Or [echoing voice Intro] it actually does the intro. You can then glue together 1 minute parts into any song length you like. It really is something else

Something I've noticed with making music with AI. If you're using prompt to song tech and you say "reggae," the song will often explicitly have a line such as the one Suno created, "reggae vibes got the crowd on top". My point being that the lyrics litterally tell you it has reggae themes instead of just having reggae vibes weaved in and letting you pick up on them yourself as you listen. There's almost always some lyric which tells you it has reggae vibes. Just something ive noticed.

I have no major concerns about AI music, as long as content creators dislose they are using AI Music generators. These tools are so close to reality most people can never tell the difference and that is why disclosure notices are needed. Let the listeners decide if they want to listen to a machine or to a human - I think both can work together but only when boundaries are defined. Other than that, good video Matt
