That's what I have on my mind since I found out about Shinee. Actually, I watched around 5 MVs and I watch their lives all the time. Truly talented men, gifted I would say. They are the best, absolutely the best.
What is the best in SHINee performance is.. 1. Onew smirking 2. JongHyun amazing high note + smirking 3. Key being Diva as usual 4. MinHo swaggy dance 5. TaeMin awesome dance Yey !! Go SHINee !!
actually i think he was pissed or something... he keeps on touching the mic alot during the perf... thats why he prolly ripped it out at the end. if you followed them since that period or before, he was quite known to speak out or question when he doesnt like something... ahhh.... such an amazing human...
Shinee was feeling it! They were just hype! Jjong couldn't even contain himself at the end. Taemin was popping when he wasn't suppose to. Man even minho was hype! And Key was rockin his rap at the end! Onew danced out his belt! That's what u call a performance! Shinee ftw!
This was live-live performance, and Sherlock is one of the hardest numbers to do live, kudos to SHINee! They were like from another planet compared to Beast. But here is the thing, today in 2016 SHINee could go against any kpop group in a concert like this and hold their own... Three years after this, SHINee are still strong if not stronger.
Both of them are great singers.They have their own uniqueness and style. But I must say SHINee was the best. Their great vocal plus their powerful live stage performance was full of energy and charisma. I was fascinated with Taemin intro until the end of SHINee performance all of them are great dancers. But i like Beast too, their song was really fun,enjoyable with their great live vocal and the intro was creative. Both of them are on the level of professional artist in Kpop. Congratulations to SHINee for winning it and SHINee had just won the Best Male Dance Performance for MAMA 2013 just now. Congratulations to SHINee and Shawols.

That Sherlock performance was.. wow.. SHINee. Beast very great at interacting with the audience. Opened up with fun and engaging atmosphere with Beast then ended with intense performance by SHINee. And best of all, both of them did it live. Amazing. P.S.: I'm reluctant to jump into kpop fandom but by God, why is SHInee tempt me like this, stahp.. T_T

SHINee & BEAST are two of the most talented groups of Kpop, seriously!!! They also have so scandals. I love both of the groups but seriously, "Sherlock" is amazing. It was such a shame that SHINee didn't win any Daesang with this song & the album.
No one is better than anyone... Shinee has cute genre of songs... Beast has a fierce concept... HONESTLY.. the truth hurts but Beast has great vocals and rap....while Shinee dance well.. My bias is Junhyung from Beast... and Minho from Shinee.. :)
Also, BEAST has more meaningful lyrics, poetic yet totally felt... While SHINEE has nice rhythm and choreography.. well it definitely explains that they have different strengths to show. love this two male group. :)

I am neither a fan of Beast nor Shinee - it seems to me that Beast has very strong vocals because they in fact do not need much background voices, but sadly they did not draw my full attention simply because of the stage arrangements (e.g. I don't understand the theme of their dance?) Shinee, on the other hand, has stable vocals and also very strong image and charisma! Let me vote for Shinee this time~
That's because instead of doing their choreography for Beautiful Night, they decided to do it freestyle. More on interaction with fans and using all of the stages. I'm a B2TY but I also like Shinee because these boys are also talented. And fun too! Both groups can be dorky and adorable. :)
That's because Beautiful Night is just supposed to be a fun song. It's more freestyle (if you try to watch the MV and the choreo video). If you want to see them with better choreography, I recommend you watch their 12:30 video or Shock. But you're right, we cannot remove the fact that Shinee is excellent. I'm a loyal B2TY but I also like Shinee. Both groups are great and work hard. Let's love both groups. :)
