Pyakuli invites Chulthe, Bokre, and Ghiraule to cut off a tree that has been disturbing her. At the same time, her husband, Bokre comes back and does not like three men around his wife so he beats them up. On the other hand, Chamsuri wants a new saree for teej and forces Mulasaag to get her a new saree anyhow. Similarly, Thyaskumari also forces Darhi Budha to buy her a new saree. Darhi Budha finds out that Preeti Ale is performing at Gokte Kaji's house and pretends to be the Kaji of the village in his place. Will he succeed?
प्याकुलीले चुल्ठे, बोक्रे र घिरौलेलाई रूख काट्न आमन्त्रित गर्छिन्। उहि समयमा, उनका पति, बोक्रे फर्केर आउँछन् र आफ्नी स्वास्नी वरिपरि तीनजनालाई देखेर मन पराउँदैनन् त्यसैले उनले उनीहरूलाई कुट्छन्। अर्को तर्फ, चमसुरी तीजको लागि नयाँ सारी चाहान्छिन् र मुलसागलाई उनलाई नयाँ सारी किनिदिन बाध्य पार्छिन्। त्यस्तै ठ्यासकुमारी दारी बुढालाई नयाँ साडी किन्न पनि बाध्य पार्छिन्। दारी बुढाले प्रीती आलेले गोक्टे काजीको घरमा प्रदर्शन गरिरहेकी छिन् भनेर पत्ता लगाउँछन् र उनको ठाउँमा आफै गाउँको काजी बन्छन्। के उनि ठ्यासकुमारीलाई नयाँ सारी किनिदिन सफल होलान् ?
Meri Bassai is one of the longest and most popular Nepali comedy serials with about 10 Years of broadcasting. Based on rural lifestyle and lower-middle-class people, the series represents many political and social issues on its episodes with educational comedy flavour. It is aired in Nepal Television at 8:45 PM and in KRplus at 9:30 PM every Tuesday. This show is produced by Media Hub Pvt. Ltd.
Kunjana Ghimire and Sitaram Kattel were main characters as husband and wife and also Raju Master and Balchhi Dhurbe performed the main character. Surbir Pandit is acting as Dhurmu’s Father. Ramchandra Adhikari is one of the leaders of the village. The story is based on the rural lifestyle and lower-middle-class people. The show represents many political as well as social issues on its episodes with educational comedy flavour.
