Yet if you understand the history of how these violent areas came about then you would understand that American life has basically excluded black people essentially whenever it got the chance. Not just exclude but attempt to destroy. Now this is not to say that there are not successful black people, that people haven't moved out of "ghettos" and so forth. But there are always exceptions to social rules. I mean literally one of Richard Nixon's campaign aides said that the whole purpose of introducing the Drug War was to find a way to target black people in a world where blatant structural racism had been made illegal. Black Lives Matter does not mean that "black lives only matter," it means that Black Lives Matter too because they have not and in many cases seem to still not in the public eye. I mean no one has any problem about rappers talking about murdering people because I think many assume that those they are killing are "bad people" or criminals and then by extension typically black people. I mean white people even like songs where it talks about spray down a house with bullets or shooting somebody because they disrespected you. Somehow they have no problem that that even happens in this country. Despite the fact that many innocent people die in violent areas and even still what makes it okay for people to die even involved in illegal activity. Some might say well its their fault for getting involved with that, but then no one is asking why so many get involved with that? But I mean imagine if a rapper talked about murdering people in the suburbs. Imagine the uproar that would cause. I think you should evaluate why you feel that Black Lives Matter means that other lives do not, where does that come from?
