savoir faire true, in this case likely gets converted to “he has a gun until proven otherwise”. This was an individual who literally just shot a person and tried to run from police. If he cooperated with the cop after being pulled over, then there wouldn’t be a need to shoot and the cop would be able to handcuff him. But in this case he was resisting arrest and was therefore posing a threat to other people. Seriously, how can you tell me that a person who just committed a drive by and is running from the cops is not dangerous?

I want yall to think for a second. You're a cop and you find a car that matches the descrpiton of a car that did a driveby on a random person only 20 minutes ago. You stop that car and they get out and start running. Do you let these people who just shot a random person run back into the public? Or do you shoot them and there so they cant cause anymore harm to the bystanders around them.

If I remember the story correctly the victim they shot gave a good description of the car and when they found this car they saw bullet holes in the rear window. ( from the victim returning fire ) And when cops stopped them they all get out and book it.

My man was in a car that just did a drive by and shot another man and left him for dead in the street.
Then Rose ended up dead just like the man he left for dead.
I was in the hospital with the guy he left for dead.
That night another man came in from a drive by shooting in Pittsburgh. That man died in front of me. All of the nurses were crying and I witnessed the family of the deceased break down in tears.... That could've been the man Antwon left for dead just as easily.
Rose left somebody for dead and ended up dead himself. There's no pity to be had. Karma is a bitch but it's just and fair. I'm sorry but it's true.
I know family members of Rose and they said he'd be the last person in the family to have done a drive by and was basically a good kid. But he did yet to kill somebody else and got himself killed.

The cop says it looked as though one of them raised their arm as if they had a weapon but you can clearly see that never happened. We need jobs and programs that will keep parents off the streets and teenagers off the streets who feel like they have to sell drugs to support their families. Notice that the drive by that this car was involved in that was also on camera where another young man was shot that initiated this traffic stop was conveniently left out of this story???? Antwon Rose and Tyjuan Hester the shooter in that drive by could have cared less about the person they were shooting at. Cut the BS.
He shouldn’t have put himself in that situation but nobodies perfect. He wasn’t the one who had the gun during the drive by nor was he the driver. There has been many cases where armed individuals come out alive. He was running away. How does him running away make him a large enough threat to be shot three times. Don’t want war just want accountability
alexblch01 I never once mentioned race in my comment. He was fleeing the vehicle so yes I would believe that would determine him not a threat. Like I said there has been situations where a suspect is known to be armed and still was shown more restraint than that. I would hope as an officer that u shoot when u see the said person with the gun not because he might have a gun. Was the kid wrong for getting himself in a situation like that yes. As I said before nobodies perfect. The officer is also wrong for shooting an unarmed person. As an officer he should know better to shoot over an assumption of a weapon. Also as I said I don’t want a war just accountability.

Just saw this for the first time. But before I let things play into my emotions I like to get all the facts first. Antwon Rose was involved in a drive by shooting prior to him getting shot and a bolo was put out for the vehicle he was in. Two pistols were found in the vehicle he and his buddies were in. And antwon was found with an empty 9mm magazine in his pocket. Also a BIG thing that doesn't make sense to me, if the mother and him had such good relationships with law enforcement then why did he run if he didn't do ant wrong? He may have had good intentions for the future but he got involved with some bad ppl. Not saying what the cop did was right. A tragic situation indeed but get all the facts out first. No one is an angle.
Those specific facts don't matter when he was wrongly shot. You're basically justifying the cop's actions....

Thats someone's life on their hands, and it puts other ppl in danger as well. Antwon could've been caught and arrested but instead he was killed.
