In the minute 3:29 She has several fireflies around her, and I did a little research, and fireflies appearing in her room could be associated with a divine presence, or something to do with renewal.
That kinda makes sense. Other commenters have mentioned that the mirror-portal birth and her shattering it could be representive of leaving the narcissistic bubble from Nymphology and actually closing the door behind her, and we were going to come in to add that the whole thing almost seems like a fairy version of going back to a sanctuary and cleansing oneself.
Like the chandelier emitting dust is a weird note, until you bring up how insects like bees, wasps, butterflies, etc do EXACTLY (1:09) THAT all the time with flowers and get covered in pollen while trying to get food. So maybe her dancing on the chandelier and throwing her magic tools in the dust cloud was her (as Creature, as they're apparently called? We only just came around to PORTALS because our sister told us it was bad compared to Crybaby and K-12, which is a huge regret on our part. 🥺) cleaning that presence off herself and her stuff.

I personally consider this a music video. So much effort clearly went into making this, the story maybe less obvious but it’s still there. The part where she’s spinning in dust and books is so mesmerizing and when she flies it’s beautiful!

I’m pretty sure Melanie pays for all of this out of her own pocket, the label doesn’t fund any of this only 2 music videos. Mel has always been one to make their whole music a visual production and experience. I found this awesome.
