I really love how whenever she writes a song, she immediately sees the music video in her head, and she won't use the song if she doesn't. I love how Melanie isn’t fake in her music, faking emotions that is a mask you can’t pull off. Which is very common in the music industry. Melanie puts feelings and emotions into her music that people can relate to. She put time (4 years!) into this and spent 7 MILLION dollars on this film, getting the right actors, and working her butt off for this. Songs that covered real deep stuff in the world, which is rare to see today. She writes, dances, and is able to sing. An actual artist that we have, mad respect for her

One thing that I really liked that Melanie said is that “creativity is not just something that you pull out of your a-s”. I’ve never really heard people put it the way that she did. And I can really connect! I only feel creative when I’m alone or confident, and she’s like one of the only people who understands that concept or knows how to put it into words I can understand.

As someone recovering from an ed, you did amazing and was very respectful. Fleur and the song made me cry and still does because it hits so close to home and it’s a good reminder when life gets hard that you should love your body no matter

I remember in 2017-2018 I became uninterested in Melanie and I thought she would never come out with her new album. But, I still kept up with her, and I'm so glad that I did. I never even realized how long it takes to create an album in general, let alone a movie with it.

I tried to hard not to cry while watching this because Melanie Martinez’s albums pulled me through the hardest school years of my life from middle school through highschool, and when K-12 came out, it was so ironic how songs reminisced to what was currently happening in my life (at least some, not all), and it’s where I made the best friendships of my life and going through school with other hard life shit on your mind and all that comes with it. So revisiting this and watching the development really hits me

I loved Melanie so much I'm sure if my parents found out that I've watched her since I was like 8 they would probably be like these lyrics or scenes are so like crazy but I don't really care. Honestly as a young fan knowing about true life already is kinda hurtful at first but after listening to Melanie's songs it just gives me like some sort of comfort even though she uses more explicit stuff she still manages to give me a positive message somehow. Melanie's music makes me feel like i was being heard like when I told my parents that i can't stand how our house is toxic they would say I'm just too sensitive but listening to her song make me feel like i'm not alone.
I love the lyrics of her songs, she writes everything visually
She usually describes the color, feeling, taste or smell of things
And all of her songs are based on an aesthetic, or picture that she wants to paint
And she paints it with words, while at the same time singing about a real life struggle topic
Her songs are really aesthetic and the aesthetic follows the audio, the lyrics and the visual. Everything ties together so nicely. It's easy to listen to her songs with your eyes closed and mentalize something. She scratches your imagination
And with this video I kinda figured out why she does it.

Maria Luíza I kind of fell different. I think her lyrics are shallow in most of her songs, and her rhyming is cheesy. “Guidelines” is obviously going to rhyme with “sidelines”.(From The principal). No lie-she is a good singer, but some of these things prevent me from not listening to her music.
