- In this video I discuss how Facebook has been intercepting and decrypting your private data sent to apps that have nothing to do with Facebook over the years and how anyone else doing this kind of man in the middle attack would be facing prison time, but Facebook execs get special privileges.

The act of collecting data of private individuals and other organizations should be considered hostile activity. It should be treated like foreign surveillance of a sovereign nation. And the government should be protecting the rights of its population.
I think there should be a balance, for example when you agree to privacy policies - "third party" is so vague. They should be legally required to be transparent about who every single third party is and have entire open sourced technical documentation on how each third party and themselves finds and uses that data. I know most people do not read the policies but I usually do and they are extremely vague yet intentially annoying to read.
For example youtube: I know they use basically every single mouse movement as a potential data source (well not know) but to me I am okay with what I do know because over the years youtube and google have helped me learn massive amounts of information. So from what I think I know I am 99.9% content with them using my data but I would like transparency to know what I don't know
