This video is way before it’s time. I really don’t think that people at the time actually realized how epic it was to have Michael and Janet together in this. Once in a lifetime.
I think they realized. I think the message behind the song is what deserves more recognition. The MJ was tortured by the media is beyond messed up.
From what I’ve seen, this was definitely a big event then. Janet was at the height of her career and MJ was MJ of course, and they were siblings no less.
This song was written out of anger. He was exhausted with the media, false allegations, and the bs. He didn’t deserve it at all.
