- Estonian Soldiers of the 1st Infantry Brigade fire an FH70 Field Howitzer during exercise Summer Shield 2017.
Exercise Summer Shield is a multinational NATO training exercise whose participants include units from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Canada, the United States.
The exercise helps participating forces maintain a high level of readiness and responsiveness, and enhances combined military-to-military relations, interoperability, and multinational coordination.

Naah, I think cadpat is a ripoff of Estonian camo. Canadian pattern feels weak and outdated.

This has surprisingly less recoil than some other howitzers it seems. What's the trick for that?
They used one of the lightest charges. Depending on fire missing and especially how far you're shooting, you choose from usually 3 charges.
Old German artillery but still top notch.

This is a training excercise for conscripts. Safety is paramount in this case, not speed.
The war would be over before they loaded the next round.
So show them how you load 155mm round.
