If it makes you feel better, the tumor they were mentioning is called a Lipoma. Its just a build up of fat cells and its completely benign, meaning its not cancerous.

Just wanted to give you the warning that bruising in dogs is never normal and warrants immediate veterinary attention. They did the correct thing taking Milky to the vet for an examination. I just wanted to warn you. My dog got bruises because he had a condition where his platelet count dropped so low he started to bruise. I had to take him to the vet immediately. He could have died.

Yes, that could cause irritation. I was also thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea to apply a cool compress sometimes, but the Vet knows best. And Milky's dad takes excellent care of him & the other fur-babies. 🙂
