Practice practice practice I just learned the basic welding today at work it was tricky but I’m going to keep practicing if you find it hard look up some welding channels to help you understand technique, watch what to look for and how to maintain an arc etc

My friend went to school for underwater welding in Seattle and spent the next 7 years welding and then retired... he's 29.... you get PAID for this line of work but your not expected to live for 10 years doing this work. Said he got paid extra for every foot down amd every foot he had to go inside of something to weld. Just insane , u gotta have some massive balls to do this for work, or u just don't want to spend ur life working and want to retire in your 30s then by all means roll them dice, it can work out beautifully.
This kind of work are the stepping stone for some of us to collect some money to start a business. If you ask me, I don’t want to do this work all my life tbh

@@tahermohammed863 Tungsten inert gas. Argon or other inert gases are used to shield the weld from oxygen. A tungsten electrode is used because it can handle very high temperatures. This allows welding without using a filler metal. It's counterpart is MIG or metal inert gas which uses the welding wire as an electrode.

Помню как мы с бассейна начинали варили учились под водой, но у нас хомуты были другой модификации, мы проваривали как горизонт так и вертикаль, зарплата была хорошей от 200 тысяч река, от 300 тысяч в море-океан
повезло тебе жаль я тридцать лет отохотился и только недавно увидел подводного сварщика узнал бы о такой професии в молодости обязательно пошел бы учится

@@bruhbruh6670 depends on how deep you are, but I'd say likely this man was making more like $50 if he was above 50 feet underwater. look up industry standards on depth pay
@@theuniversalbean9352 that would be added to his rate. Pressure welders get $100+ on the surface he in Australia. What you would be refering to is a penalty rate on top.
Yeah that skill set is always above a hundo an hour here on east coast. We charge 300 per hour per guy.
