The only car on this list i know for a fact is the fastest is the Jesko Absolut. Christian doesn't just make claims and blow smoke and mirrors with his cars like all these other companies do just to try and hype people up and get buyers and investors. When he claims his car can do something he puts it to the test and it usually exceeds what he said the car could do theoretically. He said the Agera RS should be capable of 270mph well it went 277.9 (284 in one direction). He said the Regera should be able to hit it's top speed in 20 seconds it did it in 22 so not far off at all if the car had better runway to do it on im sure it would have hit 20 or less. CVK is the literal definition of "hold my beer" ๐คฃ๐ค

Unless the Jesko has a drag coefficient around 0.2, 1280 bhp isn't taking it to 330 mph

As I understand it, the Jesko will be Koenigseggs last record breaking car. They will no longer be in the race for the fastest production car after this. Probably a healthy decision (!?)
If Christian claims it goes 532 km/h it's probably going even faster but due the fact that Christian is humbled man keeps it nice ! :)

@amarjit singh I am in agreement with you. However, as much as I like Koenigsegg, I don't believe they can do 330mph. If they break the current Bugatti Chiron 304mph record by even 5mph, that would be fine with me.
@amarjit singh koenigsegg actually provided the specs of the car and according to math, his claims are correct. Try watching Engineering Explained video on that topic. He did the calculations for us.

Koenigsegg is seriously been one of my favourite since... And now with the new Jesko and Gemera by it's side... I wish it shines like it deserves to be!!! Christian Koenigsegg really is a humble and genius man.....

If Jerrod Shelby, John Hennessey and Christian von Koenigsegg combined forces, they would break speed barriers otherwise thought unreachable. These three rule the list and are all men that started from scratch on their own. Brilliant!
No European engineering, Germans etc... you canโt do it without them cause they are the best lol
it's no longer about the cars. it's about the tires. Every major supercar maker is waiting for someone to make a tire that can hold out at speeds of 300 mph. the aerodynamics are there, the horsepower is there, but no tire maker will certify that their tires will hold up at those extremes. so, we wait on tires, or someone to invent something better than a tire.

Out of college, my 1st car was a 1980 Datsun 310.
0 to 60, well I never found out.
We counted to 17 seconds, and got bored.
The most unsafe car ever produced was the Datsun B210. 3 times more deaths per capita than the Pinto. Why they had to lose the Datsun name, and become Nissan.

Yeh it hit 284mph or something but that wasnโt its average overall top speed when it did the run in the opposite direction(required for world record)

Why all the chatter and time given to Hennessy and the Venon f5 project and itโs theoretical performance figures. I say theoretical because they havenโt build a completed vehicle yet. Hennessy keep on dragging around to all the car shows that yellow plastic mock up of a venom and keep giving out performance figures of a car that has not yet turned the wheel. I could say Iโm building a car that can do 500mph, it means nothing until the car is actually done it in reality, which is exactly what Hennessey are doing at the moment.
Thank you for this comment. Im not a fan of Hennessey. He has had shady business practices and the Venom GT is just a Frankenstein kit car in my opion. Not to mention the top speed run was only one way, doesn't count
Amarjit Singh It is true that the Jesko today is just numbers, but the Agera RS is still the fastest true production car proven (Bugattiโs record was not done correctly, but I still think it would be faster) and the Regera has the 0-400-0 record. So although numbers for now they have the history to back it up. Unlike some american posers on the list...
Janusha It is nor an official production car record because the vehicle was a prototype (although pretty much identical to the production cars) and the test only made in one direction. But everyone sort of holds it as the fastest since it exceeded 300 with a good margin.
It because the channel is american and hennesy is an american car tuner, yes tuner not manufactorer! They drag that yellow f5 mock up to shows to try generate the cash to actually build a real one and become a real car maker and not just a tuner, the venom was modified and tuned from a british lotus! They seem to have gone quiet since Bugatti and Koenigsegge got over there little top speed battles, they were hoping to try cash in on it by claiming they could compete bu building an american car and hoping that american pride could kick start them as a real car maker like koenigsegge has managed on there own from scratch but ot looks like no one wants an american hyper car by a small company, Bugatti has voltswagon behind it! The yanks are good at building military vehicles, my favorite vehicle for looks and technical design even now is the old lockheed SR71 Blackbird, russians are the same,great military vehicles but just like the yanks ( who are a little better than the ruski's are at it) they cant build build motor cars!! The russians are 100% usless at them and id say the yanks are about 75% usless at cars! Muscle cars being the only good and the best type of cars coming out of the US, the rest are atrocious, Tesla has become better these past 3 years though!! So swallow your pride yanks and stop trying to build super and hyper cars, leave it to europe and be happy that you have muscle cars and are not like russia with absolutely nothing

Yeah he says that the Regera is capable of accelerating from 0-400km/h in 20 seconds or less, but that *doesnโt* mean it is bound to do it every time. You see, the runway in Rรฅda, Sweden was nowhere near a top notch place to do the 0-400-0 at. The runway was bulky and they couldnโt drive straight forward. Christian said they are going to try again this year and maybe complete the 0-400-0 in less than 30 seconds hopefully. I have no doubts that it can do 0-400 in 20 seconds. You just need the perfect conditions.
As with the Jesko Absolut, he didnโt want to reveal the calculated top speed because he didnโt want to look like a liar or a misinformation sharer if the car couldnโt hit 532km/h because of the conditions. The car is capable of hitting 532km/h (maybe more?), but the conditions needs to be perfect. The Regera is capable of 0-400 in 20 seconds, I can bet on that, but again, _conditions_
You wonโt always get the best run the first time. Same with speed running a game, you try again and again until you manage to get the time youโre happy with.
No way would I pilot a car to 330 mph. I wouldn't trust the tires to hold up.

ngl, it feels like the speaker is just some random hired VA that is reading off a script and the writer doesn't actually know/understand cars and proper car tech talk. Also the random and sudden earrape when the speaker starts a new sentence or moves on to the next car. not trying to be mean but I call it like I see it
Billet aluminum blocks are made with forged aluminum so the wording is correct.

No. 2 Bugatti actually hit 304 mph. No. 1 Koenigsegg, "in theory", can hit 330 mph. I have a lot of respect for Koenigsegg, but in a video like this where every car has proven itself, I felt a little cheated when the No. 1 spot is a hypothetical speed. In reality, this was the top 9 cars that have proven their worth. All very amazing cars, and once the Jesco Absolute sets a time then it qualifies to take its rightful spot in this hall of fame. "In Theory" is not proof enough for me. Absolutely great video though.

There are quite a few mistakes in this video. Thea F5 has never done any kind of top speed run. Jon has said it can go 300 but it has never been proven. Second on the Venom it was not a world record because it only went in one direction. As of now the Chiron SS 300 plus is the only car to break 300 mph. Not a official WR but it did go over 300 in one direction on the Volkswagen track.
