It's truly fascinating how Minecraft has aged after the years, I really enjoy the game and it has became a part of me, Thank you Notch , Mojang for making everyone's childhood.
Considering they're adding mud and mud bricks, as well as a postponed archeological mod with pots/ceramics I think it's proper for Mojang to add a new "potter villager" since the stonemason already seems overloaded with trades. Perhaps they can also add a new job site block like "potter's wheel" that can add shape/color/design variety to mud bricks and pots, a bit like what they did with the shepherd villagers and the loom block.

The baskets can be addition to chests and barrels which can be transportable. Something between the future bundle and chest in capacity. Plus woven mats with designs are a great addition to carpets - and recognizes craftspeople from all over the world, by imitating their designs. Considering how diverse basket weaving it'll be a great way to showcase products of native cultures in the world in the game. The same villager may also make thatched roofs from grass, wood etc.

Some people don't agree. But I certainly do. I Love how far the game has come. I rock Win 10 Ray Tracing version on my RTX 3080 for the incredible features and appearance. I rock Minecraft on the Switch for console gaming with my kids. Then I still have my PS3 for the final version of Java on console just to enjoy the older style. 👍
Agreed. Minecraft has become such a better game with time. We all look back at older versions with nostalgia, but soon we will look back at these versions with even more. I started playing in 2011, and I can't even put into words how much the game has improved. (Except performance, but we got Sodium & Phosphor for that)

Please bring more ambient sounds to the Wild Update. Like birds chirping in the day and crickets at night.. ocean waves, ect. This would be the perfect time and it would make the game so much more immersive.
I know you all want it in the vanilla game, but there's a cool mod called Dynamic Surroundings and one called Sound Filters that accomplish this very well, Dynamic Surroundings even has cave reverb

the boat with chest really does solve the whole "Dragging a donkey along in the ocean by lead and losing it constantly to lag" problem. It would be cool if we could also have a boat with furnace that moves forward on its own!
to add onto this, maybe it could just have a constant speed that is half of the normal boat speed but if the player starts to row it will combine the speeds together for faster travel.

I remember Mojang stating the possibility of Eventually placing the Biome Updates that Weren't picked in Future ones. This is them Keeping that Promise.
Sadly they probably won’t add it since they do not want hostile mobs to be real life animals and I know they have spiders but that is what I remember them saying when they were asked about adding sharks
That birch forest concept art was amazing, I hope they actually add something like that. The mushrooms on the trees with actual block models in stead of 2d textures, the log branches, the bits of leaves hanging down from the leaf blocks. Trees could generally be updated and beautified imo. Adding color to monotone-ish biomes with mushrooms and flowers could work really well in general.
The Wild Update in my mind is a fantastic follow-up to the Cliffs & Caves update. C&C focused on making the world bigger, but this update is focusing on making the world richer. I think the design philosophy going into this is great.

For the deep dark cities you should make it so the candles are out that way the players light the candles as they go, and it keeps the dark and creepy atmosphere of the Deep Dark.
There’s some lore too, it seems to be structured similarly to the nether fortress and has soul lanterns, maybe whoever built them are the same people who built the nether fortresses
What do you think about this one? One thing about the Deep Dark City which is potentially lore breaking is those chests. I think Mojang needs to redesign the chest which spawns in the ruins of those underground cities. Maybe something which resembles Ancient Debris? Or maybe it could go in another design direction, like an Ancient Clay Urn to tie into the excavation site which has yet to get developed.
I agree, more chest types would be amazing. Since we already also have barrels, an urn or other type of storage block wouldn't be too out of place. At least they could add chest variants for each wood type, then a dark oak chest could fit the deep dark vibes well enough
One of the most exciting things for me is that java and bedrock are getting the same seed system. I personally enjoy recreating youtubers world, and this makes it so much easier for me, as a bedrock player, to recreate worlds from java
I did not expect Mojang to take the Deep Dark quite so far down the creepy route, I love it! Especially with the lighting/mob spawn changes, I feel its a great ratio. The numerous little things (chest boats, mud blocks, fireflies, etc) as well are wonderful; I've never been more intrigued by a games updates as Minecraft in the years since Microsoft bought it.
Since nether update and caves and cliffs update had some things that were introduced like strider etc i think there will be block like scurlk sensor that can spawn warden

Mud blocks seem like a cool concept, I can’t wait for frogs, the mangrove swamps look great, and I can’t wait for boats with chests.

One of the most exciting things for me is that java and bedrock are getting the same seed system. I personally enjoy recreating youtubers world, and this makes it so much easier for me, as a bedrock player, to recreate worlds from java

I did not expect Mojang to take the Deep Dark quite so far down the creepy route, I love it! Especially with the lighting/mob spawn changes, I feel its a great ratio. The numerous little things (chest boats, mud blocks, fireflies, etc) as well are wonderful; I've never been more intrigued by a games updates as Minecraft in the years since Microsoft bought it.

The chest boat is something I've wanted for a long time, also swamp update was very needed.
Swamp is something i needed long time before it lose to a Mountain but luckily mojang added this biome and btw mountain update is beautifull

I wonder if the game’s animations will get updated to match the quality of the strider, frogs, and axolotls. If they don’t, I wonder if it is because the new level of quality is reserved for only new mobs since the old ones are too iconic.
