Played it for a bit when it first came out, fun game. Came back to it now with all the DLC and changes; wow it's even better with a ton of content. I'm hooked.

Wish I could've played Story Mode
The 1st season has a complete adventure disc version that has all 8 episodes on disc, so if you can get a copy then you can still play all 8 episodes. As for Season 2 you are sadly out of luck, only the first episode was on disc, Season 2 Ep 2, 3, 4 and 5 are no longer available in anyway unless you already own them.

I think you’re right in that the new people they’ll get will not make up for the cut that Steam takes but there are legitimately reasons for why a Steam release would be nice

Yes, but getting a game on Steam in a really tedious process, especially when Minecraft already has a distribution platform of its own. The only reason they are doing it for dungeons is because in the long term it is technically easier, and will reach a larger audience.
So basically, Java edition probably isn't coming to Steam anytime soon

it’s come to the point we all know that if any version was going to be on Steam it would be Bedrock edition.
Java edition is like an older child that started to be neglected once Minecraft had a second child, because they loved the younger child Bedrock edition more.
I'm more likely that Bedrock edition could, but not Java due to its slow performance and compatibility issues. I doubt that Steam has a Java integration support as well

Actually just game was released a year ago ( I probably think many bugs as well as glitches have been fixed) it just now boarding over to steam with all its DLCs

@@blrryface Windows anticheat software like EasyAntiCheat and BattlEye for example have a very deep integration with the Windows operating system and the computer hardware itself.
They utilize many things that a Linux distro like Ubuntu or Steam OS don't have or implement differently.
Wine and by extension Valve's Proton are meant translate the higher-level Windows' layers into Linux layers, but not to translate the lower-level layers like the Windows Kernel for example, as it's not an easy technical or legal task to do.
The way Wine and Proton can run them is by hacky workaround sometimes, and the issue with relying on hacks is that there's no guarantee that once the Linux distro, anticheat software, game or Wine/Proton get an update the game will properly, or run at all.
And updates are something that Linux distros, games and anticheat software GET A LOT, VERY QUICKLY.

well they did a bad job adding the new renderdragon engine. many stuff needs to be done to the I/O library as the vsync is slowing down the input update function (they need to do multithreading for I/O stuff)

you should submit that as a bug report, not make a comment about it on a video about a different game
Ok comment police but I'm pretty sure the devs can read and apply some basic common sense. KRplus is an open forum. If others are having this issue and drop a comment here too then it shows it's not an isolated case therefore reducing the volume of tickets being created for the same known bug.
@@sg.o7139 There’s no reason to post it here, it’s not like the Minecraft devs are gonna read the comments on this video looking for bugs to fix, so I directed op to somewhere it would be actually be noticed. Also, duplicate bug reports are better than one one bug report on the bug tracker site and a bunch of KRplus comments scattered about on the channel. Just use the site mojang made instead of reporting it where no one will see

Wat. It was? Why is it that every time I use a controller, it's jsut plug and play- even PS3/PS4 controllers were just plug and play. Never even close to a nightmare. I hear so much about people struggling with controllers on PCs.

In 1.18 I'd like to see all the Hills biomes and a couple of others like Desert Lakes, Shattered Savanna Plateau, Modified Jungle, and Modified Jungle Edge back since I like variation, and without them almost no biomes will have variants.
