Performing this video together was completely Miranda's idea. Miranda sent Carrie and e-mail with the lyrics and music attached, asking Carrie if she would like to sing it with her. Apparently it took Carrie several days to respond. Miranda, who is obviously one the best female Country performers of all time, is so humble. She said she kept thinking that Carrie was ignoring her, that the request was ridiculous. Carrie finally responded saying that she was sorry it took so long to respond, but she would honored to sing this with her.
