It’s cool reading through these comments. I am an adjunct grad professor, doctoral student, and work full time at a financial institution. When I need to focus this seems to be my go-to as well. Glad to see I’m not alone.

But I also see more than that.. what else the world has to offer.. it offers hope, compassion, empathy, happiness, ambition, and... change... terrible things that you may have done or experience can always be forgiven and the opportunity for a second chance is closer than it seems.. sure people judge and will always judge you but they do not dictate your choices... only you can control your future...

If they're still hyped after coming inside and think it's awesome to roughhouse on the couch, I'll play this and after about a minute, they're relaxing together, just chillin lol. I cried listening to this while reminiscing my late mom passed away 7 yrs ago because of chemotherapy,the chemotherapy killed her not the cancer,I can feel the hurt/pain while putting my mom's body in earth before the burial,climbing out of the grave hole was 1 of the hardest things I've ever done/achieved in my life,I know that's the time I will leave you my beloved mother,you are and still my everything momy my heart is aching I really miss you,but in the end we will be together again we all know that,hey be right there mom!coming!!!

2019 was the year everything changed in my life, where every decision I made up until that point came to a head. This will forever be mine. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, MixHound. Your music sings with my soul and provides a comfort I'll never experience anywhere else or ever know the limit of. These sounds understand me and I understand them on a boundless plane of existence. I could go on, but using words to try to describe something ethereal will always do it a disservice. The only way to communicate with something this powerful is emotion.

2019 never been so perfect with CHILLSTEP mix 2019

Recently lost my grampa only a couple of weeks ago due to Lupus, I am a University student and am currently going through a lot of emotions, and listening to this playlist has allowed me to cry, laugh and enjoy some real comforting music. To all the people who have made these songs I salute you! I hope that one day the world can listen to this genre and maybe believe in changing it in the way I have through whatever means of a job, or hobby, etc. Live long and work hard! Peace.

I now believe that Chillstep is my favorite Dubstep, for some reason, when I bring up this genre of music like Dubstep, they think about that heavy bass and loud Synth, but really, it takes someone who really feels and understands it to love it. Dubstep isn't all about how loud it can get, like Jazz, it can help soothe your mind, and help you see the positive light.

I don't often comment on things like this, but I've used this mix several times now while going through a ton of coding for work. Thank you for the mix and the post. It is very much appreciated!

The first song 'follow the light' matches the art perfectly!

Beautiful and incredibly calming. During some real struggles and way too much inner dialogue & conflicting feelings this really brings a sense of serenity to me. It helped clear up so many thoughts, I couldn't even tell you what one of the negative thoughts were and I'm only ten minutes in. Highly suggest meditating in a quiet comfortable space with this in the background. It will settle the most anxious minds. Great job.
