    Well Sox fans...Here we go again. Milwaukee has almost the same record as us but they are a much better team. Outside of last weeks 2 of 3 against Houston, we simply do not beat good teams. I realize we are missing a few bats , but, this is an ongoing theme. We have padded our record against weak AL teams and play in a very weak division. The weaknesses of this team are constantly exposed against playoff calibre teams. Poor bullpen, poor timely hitting, self defeating errors. We're still a good team, but not a team that's going too go deep in the playoff's. And we are certainly not a World Series calibre team at all right now...

    • @user-tb2wz1tr8y
      @user-tb2wz1tr8y 2 년 전

      How so. What went wrong? MLB office specifies you have 20 seconds after a mound visit, if it takes place, to ask for a review, unless making a pitching change. Without a mound visit, it's 20 seconds total That's why it took a minute plus the 20. Ump did nothing wrong with review. Not his or the crew's fault they followed MLB directives.
      His mistake was assuming he hit the plate and signaling safe, while trying to avoid the ball and looking at it. Burnes' asked for the game ball while it was still in play, threw home and finished appeal. That gave them the opportunity for a review. Review showed plate was missed. You cannot count a run if the plate is not touched, that's the bottom line. Beyond this, the game was out of reach in the end and you cannot for fact state Sox would've scored 8 runs in the game.
