Framber Valdez is so underrated, most people have been paying attention to Verlander, now that he is gone, Valdez can shine, Valdez has a good chance of winning Cy Young award too, he does not give up earned runs, he has the best groundball%, and he pitches 7 innings, that’s a lot

He is underrated but I wouldn’t call him a dark horse given the fact that he has a decently high chance to be in contention
fun fact, Javier is the only pitcher in MLB HISTORY to strikeout 27 batters within 2 consecutive starts, he struck out a career high 13 strikeouts in that combined no hitter vs the Yankees, then his next start, he struck out a career high 14 strikeouts strikeouts vs the Angels, Lets Go Astros!!!

George Kirby did a good job shutting down my Astros in the ALDS. Logan Gilbert and Luis Castillo could possibly be a couple of the best starters in the MLB this year too. The Mariners will have a very good pitching rotation this year

As a White Sox fan, I can attest to how good McKenzie is. He could be another Cy Young Award winner for Cleveland (Dylan Cease is still better).
