Good win. We at least avoided the sweep. Wade Jr. is playing like an absolute star, like he has all year. He's the full package, he can hit, run, and field. Let's hold serve against the Dodgers in this upcoming series
he had costly errors the last two games but he really showed up this game
This board didn't acknowledge that Giants middle relief struggled big in this series along with some key IF errors. Giants need to find more consistent middle relief and should be happy Jay Jackson is in their bullpen. Bailing Wood out of a bases loaded jam, in the 6th, was HUGE in contributing to today's win.

I was at this game and I'm so proud Giants finally won a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at this game!!! I can't believe all the home runs today by LaMonte Wade Jr doing it twice 0:50 & 2:27, Wilmer Flores 5:37, Steven Duggar scores by stealing 6:18, Curt Casali for Thairo Estranta scoring 6:32, and Thairo Estranta's Home run 6:43 today!!! I'm so proud of you Giants for winning this game!!! Good luck Giants playing the next 3 games against the Los Angeles Dodgers starting this Tuesday through Thursday and I will be at Tuesday 7/27 and Wednesday's game 7/28 in person!!! Stay safe Giants and I will see you this Tuesday!!!

Nice win for my SF Giants avoiding a sweep from the Pirates. I think we were hungover from the Dodgers series in LA. Wade Jr had a great day with 2 homers. Let's sweep these Dodgers at home on Tuesday.

@@kwokamole7506 Dodgers struggled against Col despite taking 2. Could have easily lost today and lost 2 in their series. If Dodgers continue to struggle anything can happen.

Wade Jr looks like the real deal at first. Kind of annoying to lose the series to a last place team but it was great to see Kuip back.
Two things, he's not yet average defensively at first. He is an outfielder and is poised to overtake Dickerson for his spot. Secondly, unfortunately he is only a platoon player right now as the man does not have a hit in the major leagues against a left handed pitcher. Once he proves he can hit left handed pitching he will lose that platoon status. I like the dude, he's really valuable to our lineup. At this point he will get the at bats against right handers and Slater against the lefties.
I cried when I saw Kuip and Kruk. Very emotional moment after all he has gone through.

The Pirates have actually played surprisingly well at Oracle.
Before today, they were like 17-6 at Oracle park since 2014.

Duggar made two excellent plays in CF that got no love, because too many fans don't appreciate defense. He caught a deep flyball that drifted left over his head, and Duggar drop stepped to his left to change directions and make the catch. Also, Duggar held Reynolds to a single in a gapper that should have been a double, because Duggar pirouetted like a dancer in CF to get the ball back to 2b fast.
Man it’s gotta be hard being a Pirates fan after they just traded Frazier to the Padres for a couple of prospects🤢🤮💩👎🏻
he was a good trade prospect, he has never done this good before so his trade value rocketed. as a pirates fan, good for frazier to go to a winning team.
This is how I expect the Giants to play against the Pirates. Hopefully they carry this momentum into the series against LA

How much does the MLB save by only providing 720 videos? Or are they just data conservationists who believe that every byte saved count? It is 2021 should we be able get some 4k footage? My iPhone shoots 4k at 120fps. Samsung has been selling 8K tvs for 10 years, no name players are getting 300 mill 10 year contracts and MLB is still broadcasting in 480.
U seriously crying over not having 4k game wrap up... u know there's 100s of games every week the idea every single game wrap up is 4k is unnecessary. Its just a highlight reel.
Converting and uploading a 4k video file to KRplus is not worth the time and effort for highlight videos that will be forgotten the next day. Let's not forget KRplus only allows 1 video to upload at a time.

@@jenniferhamels1176 If it is shot in 4K you don't have to convert it. Yes, it will take longer. I also think that KRplus has a way for batch uploads, especially for larger channels like one of America's largest leagues. It doesn't have to be a highlight video. About 80% of all of their videos are 720.

Can someone explain to me why Alex Wood was running with a jacket on? I've never seen that in any regulation game. I find it hard to believe that an explanation would be "he's cold".
Hello. I guess you don’t see it that much these days, but pitchers used to wear jackets more often when on base. Often it was a lighter one, like a wind-breaker, but sometimes heavier in colder weather. You still see them wearing one in the dugout sometimes, or maybe wrapping just their arm. It has to do with keeping their arm warm. Having their arm get cold can effect their performance at best, and lead to discomfort or injury at worst. You’ve heard the phrase, his arm has gone cold. While figurative in usage, it might also be literal at times. Kershaw usually wraps his arm between innings in the dugout.

La Stella isn't hitting good on his rehab there's better bats in triple over him..
@@TROME42 They signed him for a big contract, his rehab is not all about how good he's going to hit with the RC, I'm sure they'll bring him up once he's eligible.
