Houston was, and is, a very very good team to begin with. And then things happened. Probably in response to NY & Boston cutting corners, or maybe as a way for Luhnow to fully take advantage of the window and make it a little more systematic by eliminating the element of chance. Who knows. It’s over with. Houston is strong bc of their stand out talent and is the team to beat this year. If anyone can. Good luck & God bless.

Well today we tested if we could have Brantley Alvarez and mccormick in the lineup at the same time, so our offense should br fine, be worried about defense

The home plate ump was, at times, bad for both teams. It was good to see the Astros win, first of all. But the bonuses were keeping the Arlington Rangers' streak intact (of not having a lead), and beating a horrible team they're supposed to beat. The Stros swept up and took out the trash. Now it's on to Seattle. Get some rest on the flight, Lads. Let's keep it going! GO STROS!!!
But we didn't keep that streak alive. The rangers took the lead in the 5th inning

@@damon6126 it doesn't matter. Even all the reports say that the streak ended because they had a lead during the inning. Taking a lead and then losing it at the bottom half of an inning still counts as taking a lead
Zack Greinke had a rough 7th inning. 2 walks and a hit-by-pitch was why the bases were loaded for Javier.
Sometimes these MLB highlights leave out key moments
That was tense moment after the bases were juiced, but I was confident Javier could get the job done since it was only the Rangers.

Umpire's strike zone was terrible for both sides. That strike call was outside by about 4 inches - Holt had a good gripe.

So I’ve been to baseball games before. But what I don’t understand is why when there is a fly ball that’s obviously going to get caught everyone starts gasping and getting all excited as if it’s somehow going to magically go over the wall. Why does everyone sound so excited. It’s. An. Out.
Who’s everyone? If you’re talking about fans, a first-timer or non-reg viewer is often very surprised to see a towering home run fall into the glove of an infielder.
