Mariners trade deadline. This is just an opinion. I would leave the team intact and let them gel and build on this momentum. Now as far as today's game is concerned. Great defensive job because all the offense needed was 4 runs in order to win the game. This game was a perfect illustration that if you allow 3-runs and under. You will have 9 innings to break the other teams dam. And if you take Bill Belichick's philosophy of "next-man-up" and "do your job don't worry about anybody else's job, just do your job". Then It doesn't matter who scored the runs as long as a team wins. Remember "Teamwork Makes the DreamWork".
But we need another pitcher. I don't like these bullpen games
@@88CDawg Scott Sievers response/ explanation as to acquiring or Trading players is a complex transaction. However, you are right, the Mariners do need to acquire more pictures. But so does every other team in Major League Baseball. Plus, the upper echelon pictures are considered premium trading acquisition, therefore, they are going to be rather expensive. So, a team needs to be very careful when adding or subtracting from their playing personnel when negotiating these pitching acquisition.

Too early to tell. Still a lot more games to play and they still hold a wild card spot. Yes we are only 1.5 games back but we do have to play Houston next.

The Mariners are going to need to face the reality involving Jared Kelenic very soon. The kid is a bust. Nobody starts out there career getting like 10 Hits in 200 at bats. That's not an adjustment problem, that's a talent problem.

I’m at least skeptical of all the Kelenic hype. I really hope to be proven wrong, but for now I can’t wait for Fraley to get back.
I am extremely frustrated too. It is still early in his career. I think it’s mental at this point. The kid does see the ball well. He’s had a few walks. It takes time to adjust to the pro level pitching. Not gonna call him a bust yet though. I would like to see more Cal Raleigh.
