Cubs are looking good so far, but Stroman got some big help from the ump there. Swanson having a great first game after a mediocre spring training is a relief, and I cannot wait to see what he can do during his career here. Defense is as good as thought it would be and is going to win us close games.
Brewers pitching looks great. Outside of a rocky inning they were pretty solid. Should be a fun rivalry this year.
I'd say most of that help with the Strikezone was because of Gomes framing. I noticed he was catching most of those outside pitches with the very top of his glove while keeping the middle palm of it in the strike zone. Classic foolery.

This game says a lot about the standings with the brewers and the cubs. The cubs were able to score 4 runs off the brewers ace Burnes and also the cubs gave up zero runs in the process. After this game it’s safe to say that the cubs are better than the brewers and have good offense if they can get 4 runs off one of the best pitchers in the MLB.

And unfortunately it's a bad guess, Burnes also didn't have a good start last year.
@@chenyoung3713 The cubs are better than last year and that’s a fact but there not going to win the World Series or make the playoffs. Either the cubs are getting third in their division or the brewers and it will be close. The cubs or brewers aren’t beating the cardinals.
Pretty sure Cardinals won’t get away with first place that easily. Compare to the whole league, their rotation ranked way worse than Brewers lineups were.
