He must've been so nervous when he decided to release JITB before any other members do. He was ready to take whatever the outcome of his album was. All eyes were on him ready to judge if he failed to deliver. He went to Lolla, performed in an audience (albeit with some armys), unfamiliar with him and his music. He braved interviews alone. He opened the new chapter of BTS and he went head first with the uncertainty of whether his solo will be received greatly knowing he's releasing a 'darker side' of him. Today, he attended and performed at MAMA alone. He represented BTS well and he gave speeches alone in that big stage when for the past years, his 6 bros were huddled together taking turns with the mic. Hobi did it by himself today. He was nervous, but he never backed down. Hobi is the perfect example of someone who is hungry for learning and improving. Time and time again, he mentions the need of feedback to improve his craft. He is so brave to try all these things first. It takes courage to do all of these. Above all, it takes humility. Many people won't even dare to try new things in fear of failing but Hoseok is the total opposite. He is true to his vision and passion. He's always striving to be better when he is already the best. We can learn so many things from him. Just dumping all my thoughts here because my little heart can't contain the greatness of Hobi. I always say this, I was, still am and forver will be proud of you, Hobi! 💜

A true performer i tell you

I used to read about people coming out of bts concerts feeling wrecked by Hobi if they already didn’t have him as a bias, which is something I can attest to. So to have just him on-stage to focus on, instead of having to juggle 6 others, makes it even easier for us to fall into a trance. I watched him live at lolla and his passion for music and performing is so captivating to witness. He definitely fills the stage and owns every inch of it. So glad he got his spotlight tonight.

The best performance at MAMA. Artists can learn a lot of things, but they can't learn charisma and stage presence, you have it or not and Hobi has tons of it. What a performance!!Also his solo album is one of the best albums of the year. Powerful stuff!
