Idk if I make sense but this is what I felt after watching Wave, Wonderland and their rhythm ta performance. They are keeping that Ateez thing everytime
Yes!! I'm glad you find out the relationship of this masterpieces! Ryhthm Ta is the prequel of Wonderland, the ending of this performance is playing Wonderland intro song with the same guy who delivered the Cromer (hourglass) to pirate HJ. It's something related to their storylines in their albums which I only know roughly the story. I've been telling people that their each performance has very clear and straightforward storyline and delivery for new/non-fans to understand and follow but also have things in depth for existing fans or theory lovers to catch up as well.

I love the fact that they brought their acting skills to the stage-these guys always have a character in mind and show it. Hongjoong was so good. THESE ARE THE REASONS WHY ATEEZ STAND OUT FOR ME: 1. THE MIND-BLOWING CONCEPT
The performance started with a dramatic intro - a ship wrecked by a massive wave. Hong Joong as the captain tried to get up and checked out his companions until they were stricken and left lying on the ground. While on the ground, they were reawakened and Hong Joong uttered "Hakuna Matata" which means "no worries" (because they got it). Then the jaw-dropping performance came in... In the outro part, they ended their performance with a CROWN-LIKE formation with San holding a TORCH. The concept is DAEBAK, isn't it? LOL... 2. THE COMPELLING FACIAL EXPRESSIONS From the intro, Hong Joong's dramatic facial expression, together with the other members, was infectious. Man, he spit out blood! Then, there's possessed San and other members. In the outro, San's little smirk and grimace...THEY ARE PHENOMENAL! 3. LIVE VOCALS AND HARD DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY The arduous dance choreography was evident when they sang. You could clearly hear that they were panting but still sang great. In the outro, before torch-holding SAN stepped on the crown-like formation, JONGHO, our vocal beast, ended it with a massive vocal range. GOOSEBUMPS, Man. GOOSEBUMPS! 4. PROPS ATEEZ IS KNOWN AS THE STAGE DESTROYER EVEN WITHOUT MANY PROPS. THEY ARE THE PROPS THEMSELVES! Even though they are the MAKNAE (youngest) among all the groups, that doesn't mean they aren't capable and can't be a TOP-TIER. THEIR HARD WORK IS TRULY EVIDENT IN THIS PERFORMANCE. MAY THEIR HARD WORK BE PAID OFF. Fighting, SECOND TIME "IMMORTAL SONG" WINNER! Fighting, MAKNAE! 8 MAKES 1 KING!
I am still coming back because Wave has a really special place in my heart and this arrangement is the almost exact opposite of the original yet I loved and love them both still. ATEEZ really had me hooked and I know it right from the very start that I decided to stan them.

Gosh, that was really AMAZINGGG!!! Like these guys are really stage presence and pirate kings at that! I was especially shocked with Hongjoong's blood dripping from his mouth, San's backflip, and San running with the torch to represent that they are the kings! But seriously, the whole thing was really LIT! Just the beginning but it started off so well! So proud of ATEEZ!

I first heard Wave here on Kingdom and I thought that oh maybe its a kind of dark song.. then I heard the original and was in total awe of how these guys managed to add a dark concept to such a lively song.. they are amazing honestly!!
I'm rewatching all ATEEZ's kingdom performances 1 year after and I just started crying so hard because I can't believe all the hardships that ATEEZ had to go through during this show, all the unfairness and bad treatment towards them. I will never forget this time nor will I forgive all those people who mistreated them and still continue to do so because my boys worked so hard even without a member and had so many schedules all at the same time and they still got nothing good in return. Good thing ATEEZ is now doing so good and will be having a comeback on july 29. ATEEZ karma is real and it doesn't forgive or forget
When I watched Kingdom I wasn’t an Atiny yet (I was just about to jump in the Ateez hole and Kingdom pushed me). So I was blissfully unaware of just how horrible they were treated. Now when I watch the stages I appreciate them, and I appreciate the interactions between the groups but my heart aches for Ateez. They were never allowed to truly enjoy any of their wins because of the budget controversy which killed Ateez with any gen 3 fandom (I still think MNET did this on purpose and let small company rookies become the whipping boy of the fan wars). My excitement for them as that for just about every episode their stages have the most views. So fan wars may have made it hard on them but their amazing stages are the ones people remember.
I have watched their KD performances a lot of times already but everytime I rewatched it, the feeling of excitement is still there, their performances is always very refreshing to see. I'm sure a lot of you feels the same thing as well. We don't even deserve to watch this for free, not just their kd performances, but all of ateez's stages in general.
I admire how ATEEZ debut's concept was 'pirates' and it's been 2 years and they still stick to it in everything: music, mvs, reality shows even unrelated performances like this one and they make it work so well.
Sounds great, I should get more into their performances... kinda reminds me of the superhero concept Exo kept sticking to for years, I like consistency like that

THESE ARE THE REASONS WHY ATEEZ STAND OUT FOR ME:
1. THE MIND-BLOWING CONCEPT
The performance started with a dramatic intro - a ship wrecked by a massive wave. Hong Joong as the captain tried to get up and checked out his companions until they were stricken and left lying on the ground. While on the ground, they were reawakened and Hong Joong uttered "Hakuna Matata" which means "no worries" (because they got it).
Then the jaw-dropping performance came in...
In the outro part, they ended their performance with a CROWN-LIKE formation with San holding a TORCH. The concept is DAEBAK, isn't it? LOL...
2. THE COMPELLING FACIAL EXPRESSIONS
From the intro, Hong Joong's dramatic facial expression, together with the other members, was infectious. Man, he spit out blood! Then, there's possessed San and other members.
In the outro, San's little smirk and grimace...THEY ARE PHENOMENAL!
3. LIVE VOCALS AND HARD DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY
The arduous dance choreography was evident when they sang. You could clearly hear that they were panting but still sang great.
In the outro, before torch-holding SAN stepped on the crown-like formation, JONGHO, our vocal beast, ended it with a massive vocal range. GOOSEBUMPS, Man. GOOSEBUMPS!
4. PROPS
ATEEZ IS KNOWN AS THE STAGE DESTROYER EVEN WITHOUT MANY PROPS. THEY ARE THE PROPS THEMSELVES!
Even though they are the MAKNAE (youngest) among all the groups, that doesn't mean they aren't capable and can't be a TOP-TIER.
THEIR HARD WORK IS TRULY EVIDENT IN THIS PERFORMANCE. MAY THEIR HARD WORK BE PAID OFF.

Gosh, that was really AMAZINGGG!!! Like these guys are really stage presence and pirate kings at that! I was especially shocked with Hongjoong's blood dripping from his mouth, San's backflip, and San running with the torch to represent that they are the kings! But seriously, the whole thing was really LIT! Just the beginning but it started off so well! So proud of ATEEZ!

I first heard Wave here on Kingdom and I thought that oh maybe its a kind of dark song.. then I heard the original and was in total awe of how these guys managed to add a dark concept to such a lively song.. they are amazing honestly!!

I'm rewatching all ATEEZ's kingdom performances 1 year after and I just started crying so hard because I can't believe all the hardships that ATEEZ had to go through during this show, all the unfairness and bad treatment towards them. I will never forget this time nor will I forgive all those people who mistreated them and still continue to do so because my boys worked so hard even without a member and had so many schedules all at the same time and they still got nothing good in return. Good thing ATEEZ is now doing so good and will be having a comeback on july 29. ATEEZ karma is real and it doesn't forgive or forget
When I watched Kingdom I wasn’t an Atiny yet (I was just about to jump in the Ateez hole and Kingdom pushed me). So I was blissfully unaware of just how horrible they were treated. Now when I watch the stages I appreciate them, and I appreciate the interactions between the groups but my heart aches for Ateez. They were never allowed to truly enjoy any of their wins because of the budget controversy which killed Ateez with any gen 3 fandom (I still think MNET did this on purpose and let small company rookies become the whipping boy of the fan wars).
My excitement for them as that for just about every episode their stages have the most views. So fan wars may have made it hard on them but their amazing stages are the ones people remember.
I have watched their KD performances a lot of times already but everytime I rewatched it, the feeling of excitement is still there, their performances is always very refreshing to see. I'm sure a lot of you feels the same thing as well. We don't even deserve to watch this for free, not just their kd performances, but all of ateez's stages in general.
