I FINALLY GET IT. The reason why they styled their hair like that is to help Johnny cope up with the situation! Since Johnny's been locked up in the basement for a vv long time, they thought that maybe Johnny might experience a MAJOR culture shock if he sees the new hairstyles these days. So they made Doyoung wear a furry cat on his head while the others had hair from the 90s :)

It's not because they can't sing certain parts it's because when writers and artist writes their song they have this inner wish about how certain part would sound like, it means not everyone's voice is suitable for the song. Artist chooses the voice they think will fit the song well. They are professional and they know what they're doing.

Am I the only who respects the fact Taeyong took over most lines? You have to admit most of those parts only sound good when he does it. Yeah maybe handing his singing parts to maybe Yuta would have been wise, but this is SM. They'll give the line to whomever best delivers it because they want the song to sound perfect. If your favourite member doesn't get enough lines, don't fret because as long as they keep improving, we'll come to see a fair line distribution one day! Instead of complaining, let's treasure the lines they already have and come to find them precious!

*WHY IS THIS SONG SO UNDERRATED?!?!* Everything about it is so iconic. The dance moves, the production, the chorus is by far THE BEST chorus ive ever heard in a kpop song. Taeil's and doyoung's leading vocals are POWERFUL but the harmonies and the adlibs in the background as well, jaehyun's smooth vocals really fit his parts so well that his Limitless parts are iconic, taeyong's rap with that robotic voice that subtly smooths out throughout the song before the second chorus, the way mark whispers "geutge piryohae, nega piryohae", johnny barely has lines but even his "oh-oh-oh" sounds really good, the way the bridge part zooms in on yuta's dancing with haechan and taeil's harmony in the background, and then the way winwin jumps all of a sudden out of nowhere to represent the climax of the song, the way the dance moves compliment the song in the best way possible. strong yet not overpowering the fact that this song is focused on the vocal aspects of it...ugh i can talk and talk and talk about Limitless and wouldn't run out of good things to say about it.

This group is relatively new and the amount of people showing displeasure towards an aspect of this group is making me uneasy , especially when I think about the future of this fan base and it's unity.
I keep seeing people commenting about being displeased with the line distribution and I just wanted to say that while people have the right to feel disappointed, please don't direct it at the memeber(s) that have more lines. They probably don't have a say in who gets more lines, its their company..... also my uneasiness comes from the fact that I wouldn't like to see a division within the fandom in the future ( i've seen this with many fandoms tbh) . EX. - only supporting some members or units while bringing down other members. Let's do things right from the start and become a rational and supportive fandom towards all members.

LOVE THIS SONG. I agree with the line distribution because if it was different the song would sound different BUT I do believe it was unnecessary to give Mark and Taeyong those singing lines. They're both rappers and had decent parts in the song, especially taeyong. Others got to sing like one line where you barely heard them and Johnny is just debuting so even giving him a little more spotlight would be understandable but Taeyong and mark have both already had so much. Plus there are other people in the group who are vocalists. They are RAPPERS. I couldn't imagine if I was in the group as a vocalist and got one line and saw them getting more even though my voice was better. Something must change. They work too hard to be background dancers.
The singing parts that they had could have easily gone to win win or Yuta or haechan pr doyoung, maybe Taeil too.

There is so much stuff it's impossible to dump it all in one comment, but basically they're notorious for overworking their artists and mistreating them badly. There have been many cases of artists fainting or getting very ill from being overworked, and foreign members (i.e. Chinese) were treated worse behind the scenes. Several members groups have had to fight long, painful legal battles to get out of their contracts in the last couple of years. And this is a matter of opinion but I personally don't like the amount of plastic surgery they do. When you have time, sit down and do some Googling on the controversies :) Or someone else can fill in the gaps I missed.
(Side note, but most kpop management tends to be fucking terrible and mistreat their artists. SM is just a huge, wealthy company, so it's a little worse knowing they have the resources to be better but still choose not to prioritize these things.)
Yes SMent had a dark history, but imo I don't think the artists have a large amount of plastic surgeries, probably they have minimal amount of it individually (ie fixing their nose, jaw, eyelid and chin,) since they don't have drastic changes compared to their predebut pics. And yes, SM had played the game wrong since jyj's departure, and it got worse. but through my observation, SM has been changing a lot recently( in a positive way duh) but the fact that sm mistreated henry is really disappointing
