Staff: the production team of I-LAND have complained of unreasonable amounts of work and overwork, and also negligence towards proper safety on set. One insider commented on the conditions that the production team faced.
"The production costs are lacking because of all of the transportation we need to arrange, items we have to purchase, props we have to move, and people we have to hire to move them. One of the staff had to drive until early in the morning, even though he hadn’t gotten proper sleep in the days before, and ended up being involved in a minor accident. However, as the name of the rental car is also made in the name of the staff, insurance premiums have to be paid by the staff member and they also have to pay the compensation for the accident. The higher-ups are not taking any responsibility or action.
The staff are also purchasing and transporting props. There are more and more complaints as the staff have to use their personal cards for these purchases."

I feel like this show will be a lot more precious and lighthearted then produce like ofc there’s hardships but I just have a feeling that the vibe we’ll get and the moments and friendships we will see will be super wholesome and we will see a lot of precious moments as a whole it just seems to be much less about fighting to survive and debut and this song as well is so cute and motivational for everyone. Even the chairs are arranged in circles and not a pyramid when one is higher or deemed better which I really like.

Bighit invested so much time and money into this im just amazed and proud of bangpdnim for bringing a new meaning to survival shows. In those kind of shows, the probability of staff or contestant being accidentally injured is pretty high (due to over practiced or technical error), so please be positive as a viewer, we do not really know what happen on the spot.

I remember the time when I went to weverse one morning and saw a new account thing called I-land.I had no idea what it was.Then I joined it out of curiosity and saw pictures of the applicants.They all were pretty handsome but one particular applicant caught my attention.It was Lee Heeseung.I thought that I should check it out.I watched the show,supported them throughout it.And finally when the final members were announced,I staned the whole group.Enhypen is a group that is formed very nicely.The final lineup was just perfect.All the members are all rounders and fit in with their concept.From watching a survival show as an eggie to stanning a group as an engene was a beautiful journey for me.I've been with them ever since pre I-land and pre-debut era and I don't regret it a bit :)
