As a dancer who competes a lot, I'm so confused with the judging. This had everything, skills, technique, control over the power of the moves and even a great concept. It's not just a dance routine, it's a whole art performance with a tangible story in it. And this is coming from a Stay, I accepted already before the announcement that this performance is something that can't be won over.

the fact that team B decided to be gone with all idol standards is really a beautiful thing. this was an amazing piece of art that should be seen in a theater not on an idol stage...

Objectively speaking (since I'm actually stan BTOB), I do think It's one the one actually deserve to win the rap and dance round.. not talking that my idol didn't work hard on their performance too.. but I really understand why people upset with the result.. but in the end, everyone just did their best for their fans, now as their fans we should work hard to appreciate their work

이 무대가 진짜 대박인게 연산군이 어머니를 잃고 미쳐가는 과정을 세 개의 자아로 나눠서 표현한다는 아이디어 자체가 미쳤고 나 같은 역사덕후의 마음을 울렸음.. 기존의 한국스러운(한복입은) 아이돌 무대와는 다른게 당시 역사적 사실을 바탕으로 연산군의 감정을 해석해서 표현한 예술작품 느낌임.. 대취타는 랩으로 표현했다면(광해군) 왕과비는 춤으로 표현했고 연출, 안무, 연기 -> 감정전달이 완벽했다고 생각함 진짜 이런 무대는 더 알려져야 하는데ㅠㅠ 작명도 너무 멋졌다

Actually all the artist are having fun and doesn't mind the ranking. It is only the feeling "expert fans" cares about the rank. What matter's most is they gained friendship and enjoy the show. Fanboying and supporting each other's performance is full of love.
If you think about it, these 3 groups (ikon, sf9 and tbz), you can tell their focus is so different. I mean, this one unit, the three of them are dancers, not just because they know how to dance (technically they are just amazing) but because they are, individually, really passionate about dancing and they work hard to have their own styles. And that’s what they tried to show: a detailed choreography, actual dancing moves. This performance was in a level you can only see with professionals, in theaters. This is what a dancer would do. It was just artistically superior and it had zero unnecessary parts. I'm so much in love with this.

Mayfly's performance would definitely catch the attention of young ones because they are doing a cover of exo's song combined with their intense moves. And they have that appeal for younger audiences. On the other hand this performance is art. People who loves art and subtlety can only appreciate this. They may not have that big intense moves but those graceful moves that they portray is powerful enough to touch our emotions. The musicality is also art. I just wish the evaluators were balanced enough for judging. They can put a rookie panel but they should also balanced it with seniors and dance experts so that the result would be more credible and not only favorable to a certain team. It would also be easy for the losing team's fans to accept the result if only mnet did that.
I'm an ikonic, but the fact that donghyuk, taeyang, and juyeon just did THAT, I'm entering two more fandoms lol. This performance was just too amazing and beautiful.

Amazed me how they were able to create an entire PLOT from a 4 minute performance. No lyrics to tell you the story. Just pure movement. Truly had tears in my eyes at one point from the different range of emotions this performance put me through. It really does leave a lingering feeling once it's over
It’s too crumb and short to fit the entire history into a 4 min dance. Storytelling is messy and dance is chaotic. Couldn’t even portray the characters well

I'm glad this team went for a different style or concept from what is commonly expected by boy groups. Win or lose, they showcased their versatility here and the way everything was put together (dance moves, storyline, facial expressions, instrumental music) was impressive. To me this is something I would literally pay for to watch

I think it depends on the performance. To represent this concept the three of them were perfect and for team A’s concept’s representation needs more people and energy for the perfect outcome. Both the teams gave their best. And it’s not a bad thing to include all the members in the performance (in fact i appreciate it, cause competition or not, these stages are gonna remain forever as the groups’ talents) They’re professionals and they definitely know what they’re doing. ✨

Thank you so much dk is my bias I'm glad that someone noticed him. He's a very good dancer but sadly underrated. Hip-hop is his forte and my admiration for him went higher when they performed this showing his versatility.

Both team did great but the judge who doesnt have eyes especially that rookies have to admit that this group really show a lot of things in their performance. Different emotions, story, art, culture, colour, and of course diffrent type of dance like ninja, hip hop, classical Sorry to say eventhough Im Stay but I choose this performance more than Mayfly.

well, i noticed that too, they really have min props. in that rap battle, they show their pure rap skills, lyrics writing and self-produced song. in this stage, they show their dance skill, storyline, suited clothes, and culture, they really bring their creativity and brain in this stage alone.
Sf9, Ikon and Tbz showed us a dance performance that you can't see every day, something different than usual. I think the three of them see the dance in a more artistic way, not just to entertain.

I'm a dancer too, and a dance teacher. I am confused as well, but I have been to a lot of unfair dance contests.. so it really doesn't surprise me.

Objectively speaking (since I'm actually stan BTOB), I do think It's one the one actually deserve to win the rap and dance round.. not talking that my idol didn't work hard on their performance too.. but I really understand why people upset with the result.. but in the end, everyone just did their best for their fans, now as their fans we should work hard to appreciate their work

이 무대가 진짜 대박인게 연산군이 어머니를 잃고 미쳐가는 과정을 세 개의 자아로 나눠서 표현한다는 아이디어 자체가 미쳤고 나 같은 역사덕후의 마음을 울렸음.. 기존의 한국스러운(한복입은) 아이돌 무대와는 다른게 당시 역사적 사실을 바탕으로 연산군의 감정을 해석해서 표현한 예술작품 느낌임.. 대취타는 랩으로 표현했다면(광해군) 왕과비는 춤으로 표현했고 연출, 안무, 연기 -> 감정전달이 완벽했다고 생각함 진짜 이런 무대는 더 알려져야 하는데ㅠㅠ 작명도 너무 멋졌다

Actually all the artist are having fun and doesn't mind the ranking. It is only the feeling "expert fans" cares about the rank. What matter's most is they gained friendship and enjoy the show. Fanboying and supporting each other's performance is full of love.
If you think about it, these 3 groups (ikon, sf9 and tbz), you can tell their focus is so different. I mean, this one unit, the three of them are dancers, not just because they know how to dance (technically they are just amazing) but because they are, individually, really passionate about dancing and they work hard to have their own styles. And that’s what they tried to show: a detailed choreography, actual dancing moves. This performance was in a level you can only see with professionals, in theaters. This is what a dancer would do. It was just artistically superior and it had zero unnecessary parts. I'm so much in love with this.

Mayfly's performance would definitely catch the attention of young ones because they are doing a cover of exo's song combined with their intense moves. And they have that appeal for younger audiences. On the other hand this performance is art. People who loves art and subtlety can only appreciate this. They may not have that big intense moves but those graceful moves that they portray is powerful enough to touch our emotions. The musicality is also art. I just wish the evaluators were balanced enough for judging. They can put a rookie panel but they should also balanced it with seniors and dance experts so that the result would be more credible and not only favorable to a certain team. It would also be easy for the losing team's fans to accept the result if only mnet did that.

Amazed me how they were able to create an entire PLOT from a 4 minute performance. No lyrics to tell you the story. Just pure movement. Truly had tears in my eyes at one point from the different range of emotions this performance put me through. It really does leave a lingering feeling once it's over

I'm glad this team went for a different style or concept from what is commonly expected by boy groups. Win or lose, they showcased their versatility here and the way everything was put together (dance moves, storyline, facial expressions, instrumental music) was impressive. To me this is something I would literally pay for to watch
the fact that the difference between the number of performer in team A and their team but they still manage to give memorable performance is just on another level....

I think it depends on the performance. To represent this concept the three of them were perfect and for team A’s concept’s representation needs more people and energy for the perfect outcome. Both the teams gave their best. And it’s not a bad thing to include all the members in the performance (in fact i appreciate it, cause competition or not, these stages are gonna remain forever as the groups’ talents)

I don't know who the haters are that's giving this a thumbs down, but anyone watching this video know they've just experienced something COMPLETELY different than anything on this show. This was truly a work of art. Not over the top with props and the guys stood out.

I don't speak Korean, yet I can tell that a queen was executed and 3 enemies who loved her joined hands to seek revenge. In the end as the beautiful petals of cherry blooms filled the air, all was restored, but it was bittersweet. Beautiful. Sorry, but people ranking this as thumbs down are either spiteful or artistically not up to par. This would easily win an Emmy in the U.S.

The difference between this team and the others is that the rap team only does rapping, the dancing team only dances, the vocal team just sings. they don't do outside of that part. and that's the important point. great show ikonxsf9xtbz

well, i noticed that too, they really have min props. in that rap battle, they show their pure rap skills, lyrics writing and self-produced song. in this stage, they show their dance skill, storyline, suited clothes, and culture, they really bring their creativity and brain in this stage alone.

this performance is truly unmatched, the originality, the storyline, the emotions, the different identities and style yet they become one. this is THE dance performance, no wait its a MASTERPIECE. no amount of popularity will tell otherwise. they're artists, they ate this up and left no crumbs.
