Everything in this performance is changing the game. Her dark makeup that is different from the usual sweet and refreshing looks other performers go for, the unusual choreography that incorporates so much energy that we needed for a strong female soloist and the incredible song. She’s bringing something new to the table all while sticking to this very peculiar character that is shameless and fierce which I have rarely seen in korean female solos (except for Hyori the queen and Hyuna’s older songs). I’m so excited to see what is coming for Sunmi but so far she’s winning all of our hearts.

I don't know how I feel about that controversy and I think that if it was accurate, Cheryl or her producers would have stepped up to talk about it and even sued Teddy. It's 2018, there'S billions of songs out so of course some are bound to sound like others. Anyway, if they did steal the song then shame on them but for the moment no concrete accusations have been proposed so I prefer staying neutral (btw Cheryl was accused of plagiarizing too so no one is a victim here).
