I really like his singing because he doesn't just show us good vocals, he actually expresses the vibe of the songs and his emotions have a real impact. Many people can sing perfectly, but few of those actually express the emotion a song requires to be felt. And that's how an artist can be set apart from everyone else. Amazing.

As you can see, the guy with pantyhose on his head of my user pic is him, so I even know about the competition he won against a seasoned singer in the industry, the drama covers and songs he has done, and even that time when he sang a high note in a special events all idols were attending and the other idols even looked his way to check who had reached that note. And he's not even my bias, but I just really respect his hard work and talent. And this is saying a lot because I've been listening to Korean music for almost 17 years now. Very few idols can reach this level of emotion, and there's nothing wrong with that of course.
@why sleep when you can be a multistan There's "Someone's Someone" or "Broken Heart" from Monsta X that you could create a guitar melody for, if you want something softer. There's so much music out there from many groups that it's hard to pick. lol

He's such a good singer, he controls his diaphragm so well, he has such a nice switch between his head/upper range and lower/chest voice, he sang this like its his own song, he sang this with full emotion and for vocalists/singers like kihyun its actually quite hard to sing with that kind of falsetto, he's a talented singer cuz with that kind of falsetto it has a different placement(?) Than the falsetto you usually hear (idk its hard to explain and i dont want this to be THAT long lol). More people should acknowledge him tbh.
He kills every cover he does, his Imagine Dragons covers are among my favorite =)) not to mention his predebut Heya ugh I really hope he goes with this kind of concept or a rock genre for his solo debut
