Just an objective look at Taki's skills and track record:
1. He made it into i-land after the first evaluation by judges.
2. He was among the top 6 scorers in the Fire performance though he had a small part.
3. He got the prominent solo part in I&credible and retained it even after the eliminated ilanders joined their ranks.
4. He ranked 1st in the dance battle, with K and Jungwon as runner-ups.

I never intended to watch I-Land cuz I’m not really fond of survival shows, even if Bighit is part if it. But when I saw one of the teasers of I-Land and saw a glimpse of Taki’s back, that really made me curious and drawn to him. Guess I have similar first impression like the trainees and producers. The way he dress in the first ep is very cartoon-ish, like he’s just going in a field trip and not a survival show. He wore bright colored, comfy clothes (which is appropriate for his age, not trying to look like a grown up-ish). I must say that his entrance performance was a bit lackluster and thought that he might not be able to make it in this competition, but every freakin week this boy shows a heck of an improvement and is able to hold his ground in the midst of this talented and much older trainees. Yes his cuteness and charms is truly undeniable and you just want him to put in your pocket to protect him, but what’s even more satisfying while watching him throughout this competition is his visible growth. Taki’s passionate, hardworking and such a pure soul.

Please there is so much potential in this boy! Everyone talks about his cuteness. Yeah he is really really cute. But he is also a good singer and noone talks about it. He has a lot to improve but he just pulls off every performance with his dancing and singing. His voice is nice as well.
