Seeing Jung Hoseok, no Hobi, no J-Hope, just Jung Hoseok in his completeness is a rare and privileged thing, he keeps so much of himself private, only shows us the certain facets of himself he wants us to see and more power to him for it, so to see him raw like that is very special even though it hurt like hell. You can count on one hand the number of times he's let us in fully like that. Thank you Jimin for hugging him for us. And the last blow was Jin similarly fighting to keep it together like Hobi. The fact that they didn’t disband and continued to work even harder even though they are known worldwide just showed all of us that they don’t do this for fame but they do this to inspire, share, care and make us Armys feel loved. Picking us up in our toughest times. Telling us and SHOWING us how mush they love us... they didn’t give up even when hates come in. They stood strong telling us we should love ourselves. Telling us they would be there. We trust them because.. they are our idols we look up to them, we enjoy their music. We love them in our own ways. I broke down into tears after seeing they won artist of the year. Everyone would have expected them to get it but they still showed so much appreciation on stage during speech. They stayed humble. Things will come to an end one day because nothing lasts forever but instead of crying over them, let’s show them that we will always treasure them and keep them in our hearts forever. We should respect their decision. They did so much for us. We should thank them and love them for everything they did. I’m an old fan. Since 2013 when they first debuted I liked them a lot and until now I watched them grow. They improved so much but I have never seen them take advantage of their popularity but instead they continued their hard work and achieve things that many can’t. Shows us.. That they aren’t just idols. They have things people don’t have. They are BTS. The one and only BTS. I love BTS and I don’t need them to show anything because we know deep down they love us. They show us sincerity.

I'm an old Stan too. And I wish that people could see how BTS truly are and not just some regular K-Pop group. I can't even explain how hard they worked. And I'm so glad I have others who feel the same way. I too am in tears, and I think it's wonderful that you believe that instead of crying we should celebrate. Not just as fans, but those who saw their journey, and understand how BTS changed not only us, but our lives in general. Let us celebrate how they've impacted us, not just by music, but as people. True. Beautiful fact i really touched. There's a lot of artist out there also working hard through music and BTS is one artist, an idol that showed pure art by put their heart in their music. I have been an army since 2013. I saw their debut day. I watch all their bangtan tv, variety show, behind stage...all things about BTS cant describe by word. BTS so humble until they become who theyre now. I wish the other artists will take BTS message and inspiration through music career even in any career their develop. Mad respect to BTS. No matter how many people make joke of me being an Army, no matter how many people said Army is the worst fandom. I will always support them. No matter how long will they keep performing in front of us, I will always give my love till their end of journey. My heart broke when Jin said that they struggling mentally early this year and even considering disbanding. We will never see how much they feel pain inside, how their life will never be as free as us. Despite all the awards that they got, all the attention that they have... they are still the humble BTS, from a small company, called BigHit that we know. I'm an army and I'm proud that I became one.

I found BtS via an airing of Jungkook singing on King of Masked Singers 2 years ago. I wondered who this brilliant young singer was and when i found out, i too became a loyal and steadfast member of ARMY. They will be one of the 3 groups out of K-pop i enjoy and follow for the rest of my life. I hope all of them grow through the experience they will gain in the military, and come back stronger and more dedicated than ever. I understand why ARMY loves them so much. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 We love you

I know :( Of course he is, they’re pretty much all the family he has left after his grandparents passed away. I feel like they’re kind of his surrogate family. They’ve previously said that they feel more like family and less like friends, and I think that for Tae specifically, their bond is incredibly important. Who would he have if it wasn’t for his six closest brothers? I’m so, so thankful that they have each other to lean on. 💜

They are basically a family. Just like a family, they argue, cry together, laugh together and love each other. So disbanding would be like distancing themselves from their own family.
It has obviously been hard for them during that period. If they were on the verge of disbanding because of emotional issues, it means that they were in real depression. Tae is one of the youngest and he is very emotional (pretty all of them are), so looking back at that moment and thinking that they would have missed all the good moments they went through during those last month's must have been hard.

*Thinking that there could've been a time where BTS would announce a disbandment, really is heartbreaking. If we look back on how busy BTS is every single time, a normal person would've already gotten multiple burn-outs. I'm so grateful that BTS exists, my love for these boys are surreal and I'm sure ARMY around the world love them so deeply as well. These boys work so hard, to reach the expectations we give them. They really need a break once in awhile. Off camera. They mostly show us the light, and when the light is shining the most, the darkness grows as well. We don't know how they are behind the scenes. Ok but I didn’t realise this video contains so many iconic moments. Kookie running away from Joonie so he doesn’t have to speak, RM doing headcount on stage and realising Kookie is absent, Kookie walking down his runway, when all the boys cried receiving the last award, and Seokjin telling us they’d considered disbandment. These moments range from insanely funny to very sad. It’s so interesting to see it collectively.

Jin said they were about to disband due to all the pressure and I literally wanna cry because as army we love them all so much and their music but then it makes them want to work more and they're really overworking themselves and that makes me so upset because they're trying so hard for us day and night, losing sleep and food, and we cant really do much about it other than cheer and view their mvs but they deserve SO much more than just that. They've helped so many people and made their lives better just by a single song that has such a big hidden meaning, yet again all we can do is cheer.
I just want them to rest and take things easy because in the end they're still human beings and normal people with a family and a life outside all the fame. The crown gets too heavy to cope sometimes and it gets too much.
If BTS ever happen to stumble by this comment then I just wanna let them know that we're here for them a that we love them with all out heart, even though it may not be a lot, but I love them and support them to death and will keeps doing that no matter where life takes them in the future.

Until today I thought BTS were living the dream, the good life. Those old days of hardships and pain were all gone. That we are all safe and happy now. I was stupid and naive. I was wishing to think this way because going back to the nights I felt effortless and couldn’t help them win a single award was hard. Today winning is easy but little did I know that the more we won the more their shoulders had to carry expectations, responsibility, and pressure. Little did I know until Jhope cried saying “I worried a lot before going up here, before our stages we always think about showing you the best side of us, this award is really.. I would have cried even if we didnʼt receive this award”. To think it was this severe. To think I was a happy fan celebrating every win with a smile. To think my idols, my artists, my dream were going through so much. I thought for a second trying to console myself “This might be your imagination, maybe things aren’t that bad” But then Jin said _ “We even thought about disbanding (earlier this year)” _ And then all the positiveness I was so proud of vanished into thin air. My idols, my artists, my dream, were smiling for me all this time and hiding pain and tears. I was an idiot thinking we were happy now. I mean I am grateful for all the things that are happening, for all the opportunities and all the achievements. But I am also scared now for their mental health. I hope that from now on. We will not take BTS’ smiles for granted. Because when the light is the brightest the shadow is the darkest.
BTS have been my main source of happiness for 5 years and I used to think that it was kind of sad that I couldn’t be happy without them, but I’ve realized that it’s okay to feel this way. I’m okay with them being the reason for my happiness. I used to be afraid to openly speak so passionately about them, but I no longer feel that way because they’ve helped me through so much without even knowing, and expressing my love for them through words is the best way I know how to repay them. I know that there will be a lot of people who won’t understand how I can love them so much, but that’s because they don’t know what it’s like to feel so alone in the world, where the only way to cope with that loneliness is through music. Music has always been my solace, because in a world where people are too afraid to express their feelings - music does it for them. That’s how I feel about BTS, not solely because their music, but their spoken words as well. I feel a little less lonely whenever I read their tweets and their long letters and replies to fans in the fancafe, whenever I watch their videos and see their happy moments and sad moments. Their words are always sincere and they make me feel again. Through them, I’ve also realized that there are millions of people in the world that probably feel the same way as me and it’s okay that we all feel this way. It’s okay to lean on someone when you’re feeling down, you don’t always have to do everything on your own. *It’s okay if BTS is your reason too.*
The world’s biggest, most phenomenal, outstandingly humble and talented yet down to earth boy group was struggling with the thought of disbanding because of how hard everything was. We were so lucky to be able to get to know them more through burn the stage, their v live broadcasts and vlogs, and just from them being themselves everywhere they went, and yet we still know so little about the actual pain, struggle, and fight they go through. What would we do without BTS? They are such a huge source of hope and joy for so many of us, so to imagine life without them… ARMY, the most we can do is thank them, support them, respect them and their time and space, love them for who they are, protect them, and be there with them. No more fights. no more stupid wars and arguments over dumb soundless rumours that create even more unnecessary stress for them. No more saesangs and so called “fans” disrespecting their privacy and space. If you want to help them out in the least, treat them as you would want to be treated. They have done SO much for us, it’s the least we can do to help them and show them our love. Because if you truly love them, you’ll want to do that for these 7 wonderful human beings. They deserve at least this much. Take a minute to think that BTS could of disbanded at the beginning of this year, take a minute to think how we couldn’t of finished the path of love yourself; take a minute to think that they couldn’t have gone on tour this year and made thousands of armies dreams come true. take a minute to think that we couldn’t of received LY: Tear or LY: Answer but we did, we received so much empathy, love, support, beautiful voices, and laughs from BTS. And I thank them for that they’ve helped me find my way slowly but surely to love myself for who i am ; and i could never be more proud and thankful for a group like BTS.

No, they weren't going to disband earlier this year. Jin said they HAD thoughts of disbandment earlier this year, which means they could've not renewed their contract with the company if things didn't go well. If you're not Korean, try searching for more trans from other sources/translators as well
